Full Build of the fantastic Revell kit. Detail review of this kit, and 4 separate episodes with more details of each build part can be found on my channel.
Few words about the aircraft:
The North American Aviation P-51 Mustang is an American long-range, single-seat fighter and fighter-bomber used during World War II and the Korean War, among other conflicts. The Mustang was designed in April 1940 by a team headed by James Kindelberger of North American Aviation (NAA) in response to a requirement of the British Purchasing Commission. The Purchasing Commission approached North American Aviation to build Curtiss P-40 fighters under license for the Royal Air Force (RAF). Rather than build an old design from another company, North American Aviation proposed the design and production of a more modern fighter.

Great build. Wheel wells are bare metal except the spar which is zinc chromate. Nice subtle weathering tho.

Really love this video! What an outstanding example of how to build a plastic model the right way. May I ask how long did it take from start to finish?

@Darren Whiteside Thank you, I work when I have time, so it is not easy to tell the exact time spent. It took around 5 weeks in total, sometimes I spent 2 hours per day, but there were also few days when I had no time at all to work on this build.

@@modelfun My situation is basically the same. I'm working on a F6F-5 Hellcat and F4U-1D Corsair at the same time. I started building in late February and I'm only now in the final assembly stages of the Hellcat. The Corsair is a few steps behind as I'm about to attach the fuselage and wing assembly. I hope to be finished with both models by the end of the month. Only time will tell.
