Part 1 of 3 depicting the story of six Mustang aircraft that were subjected to atomic tests at 'Emu Field' in outback South Australia on morning of 15 October 1953. In late 1967, after some 14 years in the desert, the aircraft were sold and repairable, suprisingly after what they had been through. . After extensive repairs, one aircraft flew out to Cooper Pedy SA and then onto Adelaide. The others were trucked out to Adelaide and all were shipped to the USA/
