I actually tested the height barrier with an octane, I was able to surpass the sky dome and go past into the void above. It was fun! 😂

Just a head up you can actually can make the terrain higher you just have to change the terrain height limit. You can change it by going into the landscape settings. When in the inspector change the height in the scale section. I have found that if you put it over 800 you will start lagging. I normally put mine at 800 on all of my maps! 👍 😅😊

I saw a guy on reddit who actually made a 1:1 sized Europe in UEFN, so I don't think there's limits for the island size. If you enable streaming and manually set the island size in details it can work, but if the island is insanely huge like Europe the game will just not load or something.

You don't need the helipads for first person anymore. You can use a blocking volume and set the collision to "fort camera only".

The reason the wood can’t go too high is because that’s the build limit for Battle Royale builds. Gallery pieces bypass it.

If you change the scale of the landscape you can make it as far as the outside islands in the xl maps. You changed the scale of the boxes not the actual scale. If you change your view to top, you can see how big the terrain can get

Mustard, the zipline looked all wonky was because you scaled the zipline rather than just move the spline points farther apart to make it longer.

For the first myth, nothing in computers is ever infinite, because that would require infinite processing for your CPU, which is currently impossible. For however many bits a CPU has, there is an integer limit based off of that. For a 64-bit processor, the largest unsigned number is 18,446,744,073,709,551,615, which is an enormous number to us, but not even an infinitesimal fraction of infinity. It would probably take months, if not years, maybe even decades to reach the limit in UEFN, but it is there. Edit: Also, my guess for what is happening at 2:58 is a floating point error, which I do not know entirely about, but from what I do understand, it is caused by the struggle that the processor has with very large numbers, and rounding them.

I think it's because some prop areas don't have collision normally

well, the ziplines one was technically correct. but if you click on one of the white squares the ends on a zipline you can move it and it retains its' shape. and if you right-click you can duplicate the spline which then adds another spline that you can move around.

Actually, for the terrain you can import a height map and make it as big as you want, I tested it and even went through the skybox. So yes limit if you create it from scratch but not from imports.

You can make the terrain absolutely massive, all you have to do is scale it once you have made it. You can effectively make it infinitely big (if you had i big enough pc to do that) but the bigger you make it the more sharp and less smooth the terrain will be

I went 100.000meters away and 200.000 Metern high. After 40.000 Metern away, there is just Grey void.

I used the giant helipad in my map for first person. I think you need to be within the 300m range to the centre of the helipad for it to render in and you to get 1st person. I could walk close to the helipad for it to render in, then walk away and I would still have the first person glitch. To fix this, I just put a helipad at each end of my map !

You can build in uefn outside the skybox... but is very glitchy when you put things like the spawn player

A good idea for the prop blueprints thing could be like a 1 vs everyone else map like someone is the size of like a skyscraper and they use the prop gun at the start of the game to grow and they have more health but are a little bit slower and would have to use long range guns to get kills. The normal sized people could have like a damage module to balance both teams so the giants aren't OP. I'm not good at designing or anything but it's an idea that could work if executed properly. Just a thought.

My laptop ended up breaking I can't use the new unreal editor.. :( Even though I've been dying for it for months.

Ever since Creative 2.0 I've just quit fortnite altogether, I now console players can play maps, but we can't make them, in 1.0 one of my favourite things to do was to create unique naps, but now all the 2.0 maps are getting more attention than any 1.0 maps, Epic really needs to start including console players into stuff instead of ignoring us for PC players ( who get literally everything ) and before anyone mentions aim assist, this is about creative . But really though console players that love to build maps just can't compete with PC anymore :(

What if you made a map with only ziplines and a floor that kills you all you gotta do is not get killed by someone. this could happen if you colide with someone or shoot em. since the ziplines can be tilted and rotated you can probably make it a circle type arena.
