We should be very grateful and fortunate to be alive and to have access to books on African creations and contributions to the world. Jamaica should include Mukaburata knowledge and information in Jamaica history education coreculum.

Yet; with all due respect; I won't and will not wait till February to acknowledge and hail up: Commander Marcus Garvey, Rev./Dr. MLK, Malcom X, Shaka Zulu, Harriet Tubman, Sojourner Truth, and etc! With all due respect; I do not acknowledge the shortest month of the year, as the only month to acknowledge the legacy, achievements, and accomplishments of the late great Marcus Garvey, Benjamin Banneker, Harriet Tubman, Shirley Chisholm, and etc! Everyday, every week, and every month is for acknowledgement of some of the greatest Black people that ever walked this earth!

For those who choose to disagree with Elder Muta, i will give a middle perspective. For those who aren't interested or passionate about learn history of our people. This "black history month" serves those. Otherwise African History is every day for us who can't get enough of it.

With all due respect. We cannot celebrate black history on February. Because the Gregorian calenders is not Afurakan (so called African) calenders. We as Continental Afurakans and Diasporan Afurakans ought to change back the calenders and restore original Afurakan calendars which have 13th months. Remember that modernisation is neocolonialisation.
