Equality of human dignity is the main appeal of Muslims that is what we knew. Now I find that Indian PM Modi is correct at least in Umayyad period. In the last speech by prophet (PBUH) this has been declared that in Islam all is equal for all human kind among Muslims.

Umer bin Abdul aziz is called good because he banned the condemnation of Imam Ali and Ahle bayt in Juma sermons. This was practiced since time of Muawiya bin Sufyan. Although after death of Umer bin Abdul Aziz this practice was restarted.

Just a very general question on scholar referencing. - Why do we have more books written by non-muslim scholars than Muslim scholars? - Don't you think that non-muslim scholars might get things wrong since they do not really understand Islamic culture and tradition?

کیوں کہ جناب والا کو عربی آتی نہیں اور اردو میں انکی دلچسپی نہیں اور انگریزی میں زندگی گزری ھے تو صاف ظاہر ھے ورنہ حقیقت یہ ھے کہ ہم آج دیکھ رہے ہیں کہ کیسے اہل کفر کے کتے کے مرنے پہ زلزلہ آتا ھے یورپ میں جبکہ مسلمانوں کے معصوم بچوں کی حیثیت اہل کفر کے کتوں کے برابر تک نہیں تو کیسے وہ ہمارے بڑوں کے متعلق اچھا لکھ سکتے ہیں مغل نے ہند کے لئے کیا کچھ نہیں کیا لیکن ان انگریزوں نے ہندوئوں کے ساتھ ملکر اپنی ایسی تاریخ لکھی کے جیسے مسلمان ظالم بھی تھے اور علم سے کورے تھے

I think non-Muslim scholars are historians. Whereas most Muslim scholars are theologians. The approach of both is very different. But I’ve also read the Muslims scholars. Aisee koi baat nahin.

@@batosatoby the way I’ve also read Muslim historians and theologians. The development of the science of writing history also develops with the general development of social sciences. Our education of social sciences are quite poor.

@@Taimur_Laal That is very true. I have a recommendation for a book written by Ibn Tufail "Hayy Ibn Yagzan" which is an intellectual insight into the way people during the time of Al-Andalus used to think about philosophy. Looking forward to your next video.

Sir whats really wrong with mu, tazila, that in modern islama no one is there to own mutazilad opininos and beleivings i think after Almitawakil abbbasi regime and ulmaas like imaam hunble. Alashri and algahzali made helouriius changes in islam that now in these days no one can think about mutazilla theoligy waiting for your kind reponse

Dr. Sahib, just a humble submission for your consideration. It is good to learn that you usually keep and show yourself a neutral intellectual by issuing disclaimers in your videos in order to make the viewers understand that you neither own or disown certain ideas discussed in your videos. But one notes that in the instant video you have shown a bit casual attitude towards the house of the Prophet(PBUH) and used words like propaganda and rebilan while discussing them. One doesn't think that the person of stature is not aware that it was umaids who revolted against Ali.Moreover, while counting the good deeds of Umar bin Abdul Aziz one doesn't know why did you forget to mention that it was he who stopped blasphemous attitude of clerics towards Ali from the stage of Mosques which started at the behast of Maaviah. One belives it was all unintentional on your part.

You have misunderstood me. They built a navy, they created a new currency, they built Al Aqsa Mosque. They were state builders. I was explaining the Abbasid’s opinions. I didn’t say that was my opinion. In fact, my view is that we need to view them objectively.

@@Taimur_LaalWell said sir. We should be less sentimental with history. Reasons: 1. I think history recoding by humans is a process which is crude and true history can only be written by angles recording our deeds and they don't miss anything. 2. who is recording history right then as current affairs gets opposition of ones in power. So he expresses it in different words. 3. who records decades after gets different narrations from different chains of narrators and all emphasise events differently leading to complexity in synthesizing. 4. who goes it after centuries narrations become ASSATIR (myths) and truth gets hidden somewhere for ever. God knows the best
