Markets are always great fun , and for those on tour or without access to a big kitchen , where you can eat at a market stall , you get the opportunity to try the freshest produce prepared professionally . Great for seafood and raw items. Sadly the mercado de lonja wasn't open but what I can tell you is that it's a for court aimed more at tourists , a smaller version of the Mercado de San Miguel in Madrid with similar prices. The more traditional Mercado de Triana does it for me , and I'm glad I filled my boots there so I wasn't too disappointed when I rocked up later on the other side of the river. As always all reviews impartial and all food and drink paid for by myself.

Your recent Spanish trip was a tour de force. I love it when you go over the wines and the food in Spain! Would love to see you in Italy or France, too!
