"I want to be found guilty, so I'll act extremely in a way to accomplish this." This has always been my secret thoughts. ** I wasn't sure how to express my thoughts because I felt they would be controversial and I lack confidence, so I ended up writing a lot. Please forgive me ^^;;

At first I thought, this portrayed her in too strong a different direction from everyone else to be plausible. But it still leaves open a question of whether it's done out of genuine remorse deep down or not. (Similar to the impression voters have of Shidou) For instance, it could be feelings like: "I genuinely feel bad, but because I expressed this everyone voted me innocent. ... So if I act innocent I'll be found guilty?" But maybe this is too charitable? ^^;; I wonder if her true feelings are simply wanting to communicate remorse to us maybe? For example "you all found me innocent, I'll get voted guilty on purpose, then when you all realize, I'll be seen as the most innocent." (addiction to being innocent) It could be the case. But she depicted herself as an insect as well, a detail some viewers have noticed as distinct. Maybe she is depicting herself as an insect intentionally, so that we realize she doesn't mean what she says or thinks of herself negatively for saying what she does in the second trial video... Because there isn't a point where everyone realizes she was trying to be found guilty without some kind of sign. The tone in the final lines of the song where she declares everything to be how she wants, has emotion peeking through to me. It sounds like saying "Thank you very much" while being actually upset at what one is accepting. I start to wonder if she is the type who tries to act guilty when seen as innocent... It's as if, being forgiven makes her more uncomfortable than being seen as guilty. Wasn't it the case that in "After Pain" she expressed simply wanting to accept being bullied, but unable to cope, then just wanted to disappear? I feel like at that point in wanting to disappear, she didn't know if she was a victim or not anymore. "A counter attack being a suicide-note." But when it turned into a murder (accidental or not), this would further confirm to Mu that she was not a victim but the bad person. Therefore confirming that it would be better if she had disappeared. Also that it would be right for her to not be forgiven. Still, I view her more sympathetically simply because it seems too unlikely for her not to have on some level been trying to be seen as guilty. But I think the response she got from the voters may have been worse than what she anticipated. Maybe she can't show her honest feelings unless it's through her act being seen though. When she was voted innocent in the first trial, this probably just confirmed to her that she was faking remorse. "I'll be as innocent as everyone wants." Everyone is talking about how much she seemed like different characters, but usually with an idea or with the tone that "She revealed her true remorseless character." In both videos, bullying is very present. It could be that, she genuinely wanted to express how bad she felt in "After Pain." That's all. Many people point out that in the second trial, she is now seen as the bully. "Couldn't she be showing this purposefully so we vote her guilty?" I think of saying, but it feels too forgiving. We know Mu probably did participate in the bullying somehow. So if she was a bully herself, the way she acts in the second trial is her true self coming out, isn't it? Please hear me out. If at one point she was bullying other girls, then she should have the social understanding to at least understand how her second trial would be perceived, right? Her spoilt background and the fact that her parents are landlords are in way, further proof of this. So if Mu would have known her second trial performance would cause us to vote her guilty, she must have some reason. (I wonder how her second trial might differ if the voters initially voted her guilty?)

From the way she acts she’s clearly was spoiled. There was a scene in Afterpain were they’ve shown a chat room with her ‘friends’ and in that one of her ‘friends’ asks Mu were did she got a new lipstick she was wearing that day. The conversation was sort of like this: Mu: “Oh, that was from a brand.” Friend 2: “A BRAND!? Wasn’t that expensive?” Mu: “Not really. Do you want it? I can give to you if you want I don’t need that one anymore.” Friend 1: “Thx❤” So some people think she was actually the typical loved and spoiled rich kid, who always got her way with things because of it. And it doesn’t help when she’s a half and her mom’s a French model (good looking). Being half white and good looking+rich definitely doesn’t help, because it brings jealousy and also a lot of people don’t like the rich because a lot of people think “they own unnecessary amount of money that they could just could spend for more better things like charity than themselves. Like Bill Gates!!”

Oh boy, this is complicated. So a lot of socialists feel landlords are parasitic, since they take people’s money in exchange for giving them shelter, which a lot of socialists feel should be a human right, and evict them if they don’t pay. Also, a lot of landlords are cheapskates who spend a lot of time figuring out how to cut corners or weasel their way out of doing proper upkeep for the places they’re renting out. This generally leaves people with a bad impression of them, and rent prices going up due to the current cost of living crisis isn’t helping matters. In terms of how this relates to Mu specifically: it’s pretty clear from her first voice drama that Mu is spoiled and unused to not getting her way, which INMF backs up, and I think we’ve known for a while that her family was upper-class. This is just additional proof she’s from an upper-class family, which explains why she’s Like That.

There's entire novels of economic theory on why landlords suck lol (heard of karl marx?). Short of it is their job is just owning money. Sure they're supposed to help tenants, but if you've ever rented or known people who rented you know that's a fat fucking lie. They buy a building, pay someone to splash a shitty paint job on it to cover up the black mold and sell it to you for 3000$ a month. They contribute nothing to the world and drain the poor of every last cent. "Well not every landlord is bad" ok but the exception makes the rule and I don't think the "good" landlords are the ones that own every damn apartment in town (sorry for rant but hopefully you see the point here). No wonder her values are so skewed if her dad's a landlord lol

Landlords generally have a bad reputation since they are in a position where they can exploit and overcharge people for personal gain. Generally all the comments are just jokes though, same as people saying she is irredeemable for being French.
