This song is for Cárcel. Inés, calling him, her Midnight Sun. They just include Oscar and Emiliano to show what she's been to in the past lifetimes and in the end, It's always Cárcel, who's been there for her, her only one dream, her only one(this is the last part of the song).

O.o actually Inés and Emiliano didn't really have a happy life like what you were thinking they lived a poor life and Inés always had seizures and nightmares. You'll know it later when she compares her lifetimes. Tbh. Her first life with Cárcel could've been perfect if it's not because of Alicia lol. Inés loved Cárcel a lot even in the first life but she was not able to tell him. Only in the letter after she died did she tell him her love.

The only time she ever felt genuinely happy and truly love someone was with Carcel. She couldn’t even fully hate her brother because at the end of the day she loved her brother more than her painter husband. I mean she even regretted destroying her relationship with her brother for a man she didn’t even love and that man is the painter husband. She will also forget about the painter and the child they had because they will grow irrelevant to her

I'm glad the Author clarified the misunderstanding in recent post about what most Emilliano's shippers were thinking or kept saying" theirs was true love, they're perfect for each other,he gave her happiness but wrong timing". But it turns out they were totally Wrong lol😂. It's sad the Author and fans are all disappointed with the manhwa. The Author-nim herself pointed out it's the adaptation team showing only Carcel's flawed side and not of Ines and cutting off all important parts between them as unnecessarry🙄.But I was so happy that she answered all the doubts and misunderstanding that the story is about Carcel and Ines finding healing and perfections from each since they were right and perfect for each other and their love was the only true one!😊

@@ranlee5292 same , I can't take the comments either. Even if you didn't read the whole novel, Carcel introduction was a bit fishy because it was all from Inez point of view. When we get to see Carcel thought and how Inez reacted, he actually never hurt her since that is what she wanted. Oh God, this is probably why I should learn Korean. Just to read the whole novel.

@@ranlee5292 oh yeah, I am glad I was able to catch the fan translation ( it's now has been banned). I feel the webtoon is too one sided, makes Carcel looks like a very unreliable character but if we really examined his character, even from her flashback, there is no indication that he was always like that. She has a hand in making him that way. At least she didn't really bother about it in this recent life but the comments is really harsh.
