Itaewon class is a different type of revenge story. It's not the typical drama were the protagonist suddenly became rich because of the help of a rich man/woman. This drama tells you that you will face failures, hardships and challenges in life and it takes a lot of hard work in order to be successful. This song really fits the drama, it's like giving you the motivation and courage to reach your goals and I love the live band version of it. One of the best korean drama of 2020.

私は妊娠中に梨泰院クラスの原作の漫画を夫婦で読んでいました。主人公の様に真っ直ぐな生き方であって欲しいと願いを込めて主人公の名前をもらって子供の名前をつけました。韓国で実写化されて歌を聴いた時には子供が産まれて、startまさに今から始まるこの子に将来聞かせてあげたい曲だと思いました。いつまでも背中を押してくれる曲に出会えて嬉しいです。

오오~~~~!!! 나도 딱 그 생각했는데!!!! 워!! 워!!! 하는 거 소리 조금 더 키웠으면 더 좋았을 듯. 어차피 순간적으로 톡톡 들어가는 정도니까 노래를 해치지도 않을텐데 워워 소리 좀만 더 키웠으면... 아쉽다. 내가 전에 가졌던 비슷한 느낌으론, 이치현-집시여인 노래의 클라이막스 부분에서 집시집시집~시 집시여인(촤악~!!) 하고 목욕탕 안에서 물에 젖은 수건으로 벽을 때리는 듯한 소리가 나는데 그런 식의 느낌임. 그것도 좀더 그 부분의 소리를 더 키웠더라면 더 임팩트가 강렬했을텐데 하고 들을 때마다 안타까움. 하나 더 하자면, 유승준의 열정이라는 노래에서 "이제 너의 그 마음을 내게 열어줘 이 세상에 (여기 부분) 나의 너보다~" 여기 부분에 강렬한 타격음을 크게 넣어서 임팩트를 줬어야 했다는 아쉬움이 매번 드는 노래임.

this kdrama saved my life. not so long ago i was prepared to give up, i didn't see a purpose to live anymore.. until one day, i decided to watch itaewon class because i was bored and i had never felt soo seen. i relate with saeroyi in literally every level (unfortunately my mom also passed away and she was the only one that understood me) so, to see him not giving up on life made me understand that life is way more than the bad moments you know? watching this drama was one of the best decisions i've ever made.

Lessons I have learned after watching this wonderful drama: 1. Nothing is impossible for a person who always believe in his/her own abilities. 2. Never give up on life and just keep pursuing your dreams no matter how long it takes. 3. Forgive yourself and embrace your flaws. 4. You are the master of your own craft so never ever doubt yourself. 5. Lastly, do not forget to love yourself more and all the people who are always beside you. Now, I am ready to start again because now I am finally pursuing my dreams. I will never be afraid anymore because I am more confident to get what I want in life. Life is really hard now because of this pandemic but I believe that we will all have a great start again!!!!! edit: Thank you all for the support. I also wish you all the best!!! The female protagonist her role was truly amazing in new unsettling way, I mean not like the typical old submissive females actress but rather she stood up for her rights and other's too she is independent and strong and unbotherd in way made me feel uncomfortable sometimes but more than other time she felt like refreshing breeze of fresh air. To be the first to confess, to protect the one you love and to kiss, and in such young age handling it all by herself that's not what a kdrama or the korean society usually protrayed but still its really amazing and I hope more of that type of diverse characters, out of the box-roles, like in this kdrama will be played in the upcoming dramas too. (thats my first kdrama after long hiatus from all the Korean entertainment in general)

I watched this drama to kill time thinking it be a typical goofy comic romance kdrama, but this drama reminded something about life. Our life keeps badgering us, makes us into a helpless creatures living each day with a zombie like mindset. We all go through hard time here and there, but we all survived somehow. I am going through some hardship right now, but going to believe that I will be ok, just focus on moving on, not engulfed in worrying and frustrations. Thanks Itaewon Class.
