LOOΠΔ [Olivia Hye]
Since the debut of HeeJin in October 2016, LOOΠΔ has finally announced its twelfth member Olivia Hye to complete its line-up.
With the largest scale and the longest period of debut promotion in the K-pop history, LOOΠΔ has been building its own universe carefully to build credibility in the quality of music and the trust in the team among fans.
LOOΠΔ 1/3 has gone around the world to unite the girls, and released 'Love&Live' and 'Love&Evil' to show the process of transformation to explain the universe of LOOΠΔ for the first time. LOOΠΔ / ODD EYE CIRCLE gathered three odd girls to complete a big circle with colors as the central idea.
Last four girls are remaining. Starting with Yves, Chuu and Go Won talk about their ego. The ego is seen as a girl who admires someone, or envies another. Sometimes, it starts from self-loathing or disappointment in oneself.
However, they come to a realization that self-awareness is not decided upon or created by somebody else, but build by oneself by starting to love oneself. With novelty, excitement, and uniqueness. Although it may seem selfish, the process of completing one's ego with loving oneself is captured in the story.
Olivia Hye's titled track 'Egoist’ starts with calm melodies to eventually encounter provocative beats to take a step towards loving oneself instead of someone else. Pop melodies mix with EDM beats to build up until a dramatic fall at the beat drop, which then is brought to salvation by JinSoul's rap.
Also, the music video features Olivia Hye's dynamic movements, along with hidden cuts around the narratives of LOOΠΔ.
Go Won and Olivia Hye's duet 'Rosy' captures the pretty but edgy unpredictable emotions of modern girls who are nice but chic, kind but naughty, or interested but not enough to go out with someone.
After the introduction of its twelfth member Olivia Hye, LOOΠΔ will spend April as the preparation period until the new unit will be unveiled in May. There will also be an event in May with a whole new concept announced for the fans.

I think she's angry cause the other girls failed to notice or pick her up while searching for each other in the Loonaverse. In "sweet crazy love" she tried to get noticed by Jinsoul by taking one of her earbuds off, but she couldn't see her. And in Girl front she was wandering in circles around the 3 girls but they still couldn't find her, so OEC was formed without her. Then Yves tried to pick her up for her unit ( with the stuffed animals machine) but she lost her grip and so she remained lost and alone. She feels abandonned by the other girls so she takes her revenge by burning everything associated with them and escapes from the basement alone. She's like a lonely wolf. But Heejin finally finds her in the end to pull her in the Loonaverse with the other girls. She could be in any unit, not specifically the third one, but I don't see her in the first unit.

I have a theory about the whole purpose of these loona concepts, but individually, I think Heejin and Olivia are exact opposites,yet still the same. Heejin is the innocent rabbit that wanted her world to be "full of colors", so I think she created the Loonaverse, wanting for a world where she wasn't so alone and living a colorless life. After all girls came around, Olivia pilled up everything until now (I think she is the one with the two red eyes at the hallway, so she knows about the whole Loonaverse, and has a more clear understanding of it than OEC girls that only have one special eye), trying to contact the others and yet still feeling alone, longing for someone even after all the colors (members) were created and working together. She felt resentful and decided to burn it all, basically destroy the Loonaverse (by burning Eden unit's uniform, the plushie, the cassete tapes that went through all units etc). Now, after trying to destroy everything, she meets Heejin, the creator and the one who started everything. Her opposite. They are beginning and end, innocence and corruption, light and darkness, prey and hunter. But they're both alone. So maybe now they'll get rid of this lonely feeling together and work to keep this world going, uniting all of the girls and re-starting the cycle now as a group.

This needs to get upvoted. Nobody is explaining how or why she looks scary/pissed. Everyone's like "Aw, Heejin's gonna give her a big hug". That would be awesome but at the same time I'd be a bit upset if I were her and may put up a fight lol. Also the concrete sequential in me will be very upset if they start mixing all the girls up in different subunits, hoping she goes in 3/3 as planned. Collabs are fine x3

i feel like so many people disregard egoist and i just think that it deserves so much more. the message behind it... to finally start loving yourself now, today, in the moment and making the decision to let the other person/entity go at the same time is just SO powerful to me. this solo remains in my top loona solos, from choreo, to visuals and presentation. it's art.

Olivia doesn't want to be with the girls of EDEN. She burns the bird as animals with wings are symbolic for the last three girls. The uniform is being burned to show that she doesn't want to be with them anymore? Instead of going with Chuu, Yves and Gowon, she sticks to herself and isolates herself (the bed). In the end she also burns a cassette, which is shown in OEC (for KimLip's power) this might also mean that she also doesn't want to go with OEC? In the end Heejin is there and she doesn't seem to reject her which means that 1. She can obviously see her and 2. she is most likely the bridge between EDEN and 1/3. Her burning her bed also can symbolize her decision to maybe go with Heejin to the world of 1/3? Maybe she feels like she belongs there?

I love how this song really shows the more brutal(?) way of learning to love yourself. Like how you have to kind of just get yourself up on your own and slowly learn to accept yourself.. I don’t know how to put this in words but I love this song so much. It shows that it’s okay to love yourself, and that it takes everyone a different amount of time to get to that level. Some people take only a few weeks, months, while others take years and it’s okay. What matters in the end is that you did it and I’m proud of you :) I’m sorry if this is too cheesy I’m kinda having a lot of sad thoughts lately
