As someone who is (L)GBTQ I think it is really really brave to do this and to talk about these storylines. As a newer fan, I find it really brave and inspiring. Saw that "be mine" really reached #1 on some Genius korean music chart, so happy and proud of Junji for this well-deserved accomplishment ! And to think that he voiced multiple times (and even very recently in their vacation show) how much he wants OnlyOneOf to hit 1st place on music charts like Billboard... it makes it even special. It's not Billboard yet, but still, it's fantastic to see their amazing work be rewarded. Hope this is only the beginning and that OnlyOneOf will get #1 again very soon !

"be mine" is also amazing ((((( the way junji is obviously in love without brakes, it's all in such small details. and at the same time in a completely different way than in "be free". kb is fascinated by yoojung, as if by some small revelation, a miracle that he accidentally found, and junji is completely delighted by rie. this is soft purple-orange aesthetic instead of the cold colors of "begin", and slightly lighter colors of "be free". 8d really put together an incredibly talented team for these clips.

I admire OOO for making so many people question themselves and the world around them. They are beyond brave to give a representation of the LGBTQ± for Korean Idols. Yes, we have our "out and about" 🏳️‍🌈 in the Korean industry, but this a group who gives visual representation that stirs up their norm and brings things to light that a lot of people are too scared to mention. Even if this was just conceptual content.. I am still beyond proud, because they've created a movement. **And of course leave it to my bias Junji to bring out his part of UI# and the song sound completely mastered to my tastes 💕

Oky okay, i've been watching this so unhealthily LOL....Rie looks like that innocent guy but is very anxious and scared of opening up to this type of relationship. He obviously likes Junji but is conflicted almost? This also agrees with the lyrics of the song. Look at Rie, sometimes he feels conflicted and anxious. Maybe that phonebooth is a metaphor of "I'll make you come out if you let me in". Look at the kiss scene 2:35. He looks very conflicted but he decides to give himself anyway, probably because he trusts him.

As a queer person, I can't stress enough how precious it is to have cute romantic gay stories like these from the "be" saga. So many gay love stories feature social isolation, abusive parents, violence, or tragic endings. These music videos are so peaceful and refreshing. Also, I love the food metaphors for sex, like the pink popsicle and the ramen ("do you want to eat ramen with me?" is the Korean equivalent of "netflix and chill" lol)

I just can't stop watching these solo songs every day. It means a lot to me, just as I believe it to many others. Having content about a love that comes out of the box of heteronormativity and that is shown in a way that we see that this love "can work", can have the "happy ending" without great dramas ... it's like a breath of hope. A "peaceful love"... I became a HUGE fan of them. They are making a beautiful and IMPORTANT work in K-pop and Korea/World in general. Thank you guys so much for that!

I dont know how visible this will be to people, but as a guide of what is going on here for newcomers: OnlyOneOf is a 6 member group, they are currently releasing a series of member solos, one every month. 4 out of 6 members appear in this MV. The group has been doing a sequence of at least somewhat interconnected queer stories since releasing libidO a little over a year ago (they were still a 7 member group at the time). They have had consistent pairings between these videos. In this video, you see: - Junji (Kim Junhyung): this is his solo and he's the one singing, has a light ombre hair. He's a lead singer/lead dancer in the group at least based on their official initial positions. 98 line. - Rie (Lee Sungho): he is Junji's partner in this video, relatively short pale brownish hair. He's also lead sjnger/lead dancer, but he is also their dance leader and very involved in their choreo (the whole group is though). We are expecting him to have his solo next month (September). 96 line. - Yoojung (Lee Taeyeob): the blonde behind the counter at the cafe. He's the main dancer of the group, and very good at girl griup dances (and Taemin's dances). He started off the solo sequence with "begin" in June, which is also a queer love story. 97 line. - KB (Shin Kyubin): longish brown haired one sitting across from Junji in the cafe at the start. He's the eldest member and one of the main producers/songwriters of the group. He had his solo "be free" in July, and it is the second part of the story of Yoojung's as the two of them are partnered throughout. 92 line. There are 2 more members who do not appear here and should be having their solos in October/November: - Mill (Lee Yongsoo): main rapper, also a vocalist (they can all sing well). 99 line - Nine (Jung Wookjin): lead vocal, maknae, also one of the main producers/songwriters for the group. 99 line. Watching all three mvs, I keep noticing that all three has that phone booth. I feel like this symbolizes their fears or what the society's point of view. In begin, Yoojung is inside the phone booth but is open. He is somewhat hesitant to go outside or remain inside like how he likes KB but doesn't know whether he should reveal how he feels or not. But the KB crashes in on him thus begining something which we see in KB's song be free, were it turns out he also like Yoojung but was like him too, afraid to show there true feelings. Only until he bumps into Yoojung at the phone booth that he slowly frees himself that they become closer. In be mine, we see how Rie is ok with going out with Junji but is still fearful or worried, hence the phone booth is closed and why he looks scared. But with Junji's simple knock he comes out. Though Rie still looks worried, Junji holds his hand and reassures him and seals it with a kiss. Well that is what I think at least. I am loving OOO even more and I am so looking forward to Rie's song.

The storylines are also all in the same Universe and with each song it expands and that's such a smart move from them. Adding to the universe with each song? I remember stanning pre-predebut but kind of stopped around the “Junji covering his eyes” era lol I’ve kept up with a few updates but I’m falling back in love with this group. I’m glad to see they have gained a bit more recognition. They deserve it.
