The girls did not know that the video break would be their families on the screen saying they love and support them. These girls work every day and are away from their families most of the time. This was a very touching moment for them and for all of us that want the very best for them. This group of 4 girls could be considered one of the best vocal groups of all times. Their level of passion and delivery is beyond anything I have ever seen in my lifetime of music production. It is very emotional to watch for anyone that appreciates great talent.

To those who don't know, the story behind this song is: Back in like 2016 fans held up cards for Solar's bday as an answer to a lyric in "Love Lane" 놓지않을게 (Never letting go/I will not let you go). She then wrote part of the song. Hwasa wrote the rapping and singing parts after their first win (~500+ days after their debut for "You're the Best," recommend you all to watch it, it was really touching). Byul added her parts after their 2nd year anniversary. Then during their Memory Showcase, all four of them sang it.

This is going to be a little lengthy, so...The stunning beauty of this moment alone must be worth the price of every ticket in the auditorium. The ladies glow and radiate love. You can't even say one second was more touching than another. The lyrics cut deep and the delivery is special. Is it even possible there was a dry eye in the house? Because Mine weren't after the first verse. They were expecting fan messages, but when the fans were their families sending heartfelt messages (especially after not initially having their family's support), that was a beautiful surprise and became overwhelming for them. I think it was Byul who asked Whee In if she knew about this and Whee In shook her head "no." Moments like this are special in life and I'm just glad it was recorded for the ladies to look back on. On their 4th Anniversary video, they watched their videos through the years and were laughing and explaining through each until this particular one was played back. They went silent and you could see the effect was still there. Whoever envisioned this group probably had no clue they would be so special. They probably just envisioned putting together some voices. But to find personalities that fit together like a puzzle is RARE. Each can and DO carry shows alone as solo artists, but Solar said it simple and plain. Without Mamamoo, she would just be a part (missing the rest of her). And there are no diva-ish attitudes about these ladies. They don't think they are better than anyone else and are very grateful for the fortunes that come their way. sure, they've done things that other societies would question, but they learned that although their intentions were good, the act or word itself was not. They've apologized profusely for those mistakes and have had to try to live down that awful title of "racists," when they're CLEARLY not. A misunderstanding of cultures can catch you out like that. Like when I first performed in the U.K., when I would demonstrate the number 2 I would put up my index and middle fingers with the palm of my hand turned towards myself. People became offended and I thought it was my song choices. I came to find out later that in the U.K., that gesture would be telling my whole audience to f*ck off! I never even KNEW that was a thing let alone a part of their culture. I was destroyed that I had offended them like that. They eventually understood that being American, that isn't what that gesture means in MY culture. I was completely embarrassed nonetheless and couldn't apologize enough. I haven't done it since. But it sticks with me. And if these ladies KNEW what they were doing wrong, how did it get past the label, whom, as I understand it, has to okay everything that hits the stage? So I don't blame anyone or anything except culture clashes and misunderstandings for their mistakes, ESPECIALLY when they own up to them. I've got mad love, respect and admiration for these 4. American artists can learn so much from these ladies. Real moments. Real voices. Real beauties. Real heart. Real talent. Real fans. Real love. Mamamoo is real!!

What I really appreciate about this song is that it wasn't a song that was written in one-go or in a concentrated period. I mean, it went through some events that really left strong impressions on the girls that they would be able to write such a beautiful song. Solar started with the melody and even included the "Never Letting Go" slogan that was the first fan event that moomoo did. Then byul and hwasa slowly added their own verses before they completed it as a whole. Its... Really a process, and a beautiful one too
