Sam was nominated on Korea Music Awards,his labelmate Lee Jin Ah too but didn't win. Jung Seunghwan was nominated on MAMA for best male solo vocal last year and MAMA 2018 too.

y'all do not realize that Sam Kim sings with a voice of the entire universe. every single damn time this man opens his mouth, it's like trees sing, like the ground sings, skies and clouds sing. there's so much raw power in him, his lyrics, but at the same time it's the warmest and gentlest of hugs you could get. so much of his heart goes into his creation. best artist ever, hands down.

예전에 케이팝스타에서 유희열이 오래 음악하고 싶다면 안테나로 오란식으로 말했던게 맞는말이였구나 계속 생각하게 된다 안테나 소속 가수들은 대대적인 홍보 없이도 꾸준히 얼굴 비춰주고 좋은 노래 들려줘서 잊혀질 틈이 없는데 YG, JYP 들어간 친구들은ㅠㅠ... 버나드박이나 케이티킴이 저기서 같이 콜라보도 하고 앨범 냈으면 어떤 노래들이 나왔을까 생각만하면 아쉬움이 밀려옴ㅜㅠ 노래 정말 좋아요 앞으로도 쭉 노래해주세요!!

I stan BTS and everything, but it hurts when all my friends think I only like BTS and they're basically the main K-pop everything. Sure, BTS is popular, but it's really sad when artists with such beautiful music, such as this one, aren't as recognized. I know this is cheesy and everything but: All artists, K-pop or not, have a #1 place in my heart

I just discovered Sam Kim last night and I’ve been hooked since!! This song is especially moving just melodically and more so after looking up the translation. His ability to write music like this inspires me to want to learn the language. I think such a soulful singer and writer is exactly what is needed in the music market no matter the language barrier. I am proud of Sam for making it as a fellow American and can’t wait to see his growth!

Sam and deserts are such a legendary combination. From Mama Don't Worry to Sun and Moon, he's grown SO much as an artist and I'm so proud. I can't get over how amazing this song is, and the music video is hands down one of the most beautiful mvs I've ever seen.
