Debuting in 2015 with a hot hiphop track "Deja Vu", girl group SONAMOO received a lot of spotlight for their powerful stage performances unprecedented by other rookie groups. A year since their "CUSHION" release, the girls return with a third mini-album, "I Like U Too Much".
As SONAMOO is a group that thrives to change and try new things, the group's third mini-album title song "I Like U Too Much" is also something that cannot be defined as just one genre. The track is a harmonious work of perfection - it combines real instrumental sounds with analog synth sounds, as well as lyricist Misfit's funky fun lyrics sung in the members' beautiful voices.

2015年強烈なヒップホップサウンド「Deja Vu」でデビュー、新人らしくないパワフルなパフォーマンスを見せてくれたガールズグループ‘ソナム’が、『CUSHION』の発表以来、1年ぶりに3rdミニアルバム『大好き』でカムバックする。

Sonamoo just said in their recent comeback showcase (for I (Knew It)) that the I Like U Too Much concept suited them the best. Let female artists be cute. Let female artists be sexy, strong, etc. This is my favorite Sonamoo song and I was SOOOO sick of i-fans trashing this song for being cute.

honestly i feel like only groups from bigger companies can get away with doing super unique and tough concepts because they already have the support and the company won't suffer THAT much if its not as popular. Sonamoo was rushed out to the public right when BAP had that lawsuit so TS can make money and the girls suffered soooo much for it because of crazy angry BAP fans who were mad at TS for making Sonamoo have a similar concept to BAP even though they were initially supposed to be BAP's sister group. imo if the whole lawsuit thing never happened or if TS would've pushed back their debut till the whole thing was settled, i think Sonamoo would've definitely succeeded but unfortunately that's not what happened and they had to resort to the cute concept and it was either that or the sexy concept (which i think they can def pull off but they are still kinda young so no lol) and SuMin had said after their debut happened that they want to try different concepts so this one wont stick forever BUT!! before you guys complain too much you guys should check out their album, their first track is really great and New Sun has a song that she composed and wrote the lyrics for that sounds a lot like their first album. Overall, whether you like the concept or not we should still support them!! they are talented girls and tbh this song is actually rlly good and has a funky sound to it and the bridge is killer. Besides we don't want them pulling a The Ark situation and just disbanding or have them be left in the dungeon like Secret because of the lack of support. If this is the song that gets them recognition so they can make a living and do concepts that they want then we should definitely support and promote it. TL;DR: they debuted at the wrong time; they want to try new concepts; cute concept is popular in korea rn; we should support them; listen to the album there's better songs on there

I agree with everything except for what you said about the time of debut. They debuted later than planned. They were not rushed out. They would have debuted before the conflict if TS hadn't changed title songs. And it isn't really fair for these hard working girls to have to put their dreams on hold because of a conflict that they had nothing to do with.

The thing I find funny is that some people were complaining that Sonamoo is copying B.A.P in their debut and they should have not debuted like that basically they were getting hate for having debuted with that style but now people are saying what happened to Sonamoo that they are falling into the whole cute thing and they do not like it. I can just say people can never be pleased with which ever concept they are going for they always get so many complaints no matter what they do. I think these girls are really talented and amazing they deserve support and love they should be able to experiment with different concepts until they find one that suits them and that they feel comfortable doing

Personally I loved their first concept, and even though I'm a Baby I didn't think they were ripping BAP off. I thought they were really unique since I can't name any other girl group with a hiphop concept (2ne1 and 4minute were as close as you can get, but even they weren't hiphop girl groups). Don't get me wrong, I'll still support Sonamoo, but understand that some fans are disappointed that they changed their style.

You know that badass concept doesn't work in korean music market. Y'all want that concept but that is a waste of money. Remember, they are korean idols doing music to Korean music market not to America music market.

초딩 시절 매일 듣던 노래.. 초딩때 매일 뮤뱅 본방사수했는데 어떤 걸그룹이 나왔는데 노래가 너무 좋아서 바로 네이버에 서치 해서 멤버들 한분한분 눈에 담고 유튜브로 넘어와서 뮤비만 몇십번 돌려봤던 기억이ㅎㅎ

Hey why can't everybody just chill out with this song. I mean this is their best song thooo. Don't you know that this I think this is one of TS strategy, so they don't always stick with one concept. Secret can be cute sometimes but also can be sexy. BAP also can be badass sometimes but they also have cute side like in Don't leave and carnival. So does Sonamoo. They already so badass in dejavu and cushion, why can't they be cute on this comeback. I think this is really good song. Please support them! Sorry for my bad english
