MvC2 Beginner's Guides: Megaman

A general overview and introduction of Megaman.
Megaman is better than most people would think. His LP and LK are 1-frame normals and his kit can be pretty varied depending on the situation thanks to his weapons. There are also some very lenient supers DHC timing-wise in his arsenal. He can pick up the pace with some top tiers even, notably Magneto and Storm. However, this needs extreme amounts of patience and practice. If you are all about staying flexible and adapting to new situations, Megaman is your guy.
This is not meant to be an advanced guide, as i do not know enough about the character to go in-depth.

As someone who plays a lot of Mega Man games, this just wants me to try MvC2 and pick up the Blue Bomber. He’s way better than most people say, just getting used to charging and Eddie items will be interesting.

As a Mega Man main in MvC2, I really appreciate you making this video. Also, his BnBs are way easier to pull off than I expected haha. Fun fact: He's pretty high up on Justin Wongs tier list as well and you're right, he can hold his own against the likes of Storm. Thanks for this man, it'll definitely come in handy in the future now that everyone's playing Marvel again.

If played correctly and drones as assist he can beat magneto with the football pretty crazy, for more info there’s a video of mike Ross mega man gameplay vs magneto

Some other details include... - All MMs light attacks except dlk [which is 2 frames] are 1 frame, so if you order switch glitch, the best anyone including Magneto can do is tie at the start of the match. Otherwise they get beat outright. It's literally impossible to get a perfect on a Mega Man player if he doesn't want it, knows what he's doing, and is properly set up. This also means MM can also almost always get away at the start of the match.

Quicker than I thought, are you going to make videos about the mechanics? ie unblockabkes, super cancels, superjump cancels ???

Seeing Mega Man in a fighting game without his Smash moveset is so... weird

Not only that but being able to wall jump. Both in Smash and here. Which ironically, he can’t do in his own games.

@@carlbloke8797 actually, he can walk jump in the two arcade games the Power Battle and Power Fighters

@@jephteteleus824 That's because the Mega Man that is in the MvC series is Mega Man from the Power Battle/Fighters. The one which -Walljumps -Summons Eddie (even tought that Eddie is a emergency resource on the games) -Has "Mega Upper" -Dies when loses on a Time out etc.
