1965, I was on the Space Needle as a young Army paratrooper on the way to Fairbanks, Alaska. In 1984, we moved there, lived in Redmond and I flew all over Seattle, Eastside and Boeing field. Miss the area and friends there, but not the congestion, traffic on land and rain. Enjoy the Slick ride my friends. Married for 53 years this July. God bless you guys.

My first helicopter ride was over Oahu in a small three person one with no doors, the second was over San Francisco flying low over the Marin Headlands, Golden Gate Bridge and the boats on the bay was a blast. Happy anniversary!

I noticed a lot of concerned comments about their well-being. Everything is ok. If anyone took a minute to look at their other social media sites, you can see that they're happy as ever and posting pictures. There's only so much entertaining content someone can produce. I'm sure they just needed a well-deserved break.

Congrats! Nice to see people as happy as you guys are this far along. Keep doing whatever your doing! I spent many, many years in helicopters, Army, Mining exploration, Coast Guard and Regulatory inspections. Been trying to get my wife to take a ride. I did send my kids in a floatplane over Vancouver, they loved it. You have to put that on your bucket list!

Congratulation on your Anniversary. As mentioned in other post Hawaii seems to be a popular location to sight see in a helicopter. As it was with my wife and I on our honeymoon, 25 yrs. ago. We did the tour of Maui with it's coastline/sugar fields/Jurassic park locations and best of all Haleakalā National park and crater. The highest point on Maui at just over 10,000 ft. from sea level and 30,000 ft. if you base the elevation from the sea floor, so it is among the highest few mountains in the world. Don't know about now but at the time that I booked the helicopter flight I was given a choice of the Standard tour flight ...or...the "Vietnam Special" flight with a souvenir video compiled from 4 exterior and 1 interior cameras located on the helicopter. A lot of the experienced Hawaiian pilots at the time were ex-Vietnam pilots, so it seem to me that was the one ride I could not miss and mark it off my bucket list. Location to view were much the same as the regular flight only much , much more aggressive/lower/closer to the jungle tree tops/water falls and rivers. Still have the video after all this time and so amusing to listen to and watch the clips of our flight from the camera that was filming inside the cockpit. In the least creepy way possible.... you guys are like the parents I never had lol 😂 I love your videos! Every morning I watch one while I eat breakfast and have my coffee because it’s one of the only ways I’ve actually retained any info about boats and boat life- you both explain everything so well and are not condescending when you explain things. It’s really the nicest way to get a little exposure to boat things- I’m not trying to be a solo captain or anything but I am trying to learn because boats/being on the water used to scare me I guess because I just didn’t know anything about them. I grew up in a harbor and water town (literally my neighbors and I were on the water) and around boats but everyone else always took the lead on handling anything boat related- it was almost like this-is-too-complicated-for-you-so-don’t-touch-anything sorta mentality which I was honestly fine with then. But now I live in another boating town on the west coast and realize I’ve grown up around boats but know NOTHING about boats and they totally intimidate me.Your videos help me learn little things and feel more comfortable and like it’s a hobby I could one day be comfortable trying. Boating in my experience is just one of those things that people can be so strange and territorial about sharing with others yet you guys are an open and empathetic book to us all! just wanted to say thank you for your videos! whether it’s putting up Easter decorations or showing how to scrape barnacles off the boat- I really enjoy them! You’re helping more people than you know by sharing little bits of your life. ❤️

I'm originally from the Seattle area, so that brought back some memories. Especially the old building down town that used to be where Sears and Sears basement were inside of. I flew on a University of Michigan life flight! Back in 1990! I was very sick and still am! Won't bore you with my medical condition all I know I'm happy to be alive ❤!

How old is that car. Hardly ever see keys anymore. When we were in Hawaii for the 40th anniversary of Pearl Harbor attack my friend took a helicopter ride. He said it was scary as the pilot would follow the contour of the cliffs over the ocean. Glad you’ll enjoyed.

Saw you two anchored in Gig Harbor a couple of weeks ago. You didn't drop the tender so no hope in meeting you on our dog walks. Wife and I were out in the tender and were going to swing by and say hello and thank you in person for your great channel.... But we thought it was best to not to invade your privacy. We did sneak in a wave as we moored by as we left the harbor the next day. Enjoy your video s. It's a Sunday morning favorite.

As tempted as I've been over the years, my last ride in a helicopter, among several, was while in the Marine Corps in 1965. Seen enough and had enough thrills. Been there, done that. Isn't it great when a channel you watch every week regularly, just stops dead...no brief explaination of why, no goodbye and thanks for watching. Same thing happened with the Nordhavn sailing vessel Cassidy, just stopped dead. That guy popped up somewhere else to explain that Covid had stopped the planned Pacific cruising plans, so they have gone back to home base. But this was never explained on the Cassidy channel...they just stopped uploading content. This type of behaviour must make viewers think twice about financially supporting these channels.

I’ve been binge watching your videos. So refreshing to see real life cruising instead of that fairytale stuff so many channels seem to push. I will eventually see them all. I’m relegated to cruising as a crew member with other folks until I sell my helicopter and buy the boat I want - likely a trailerable trawler like a 29 foot or possibly 31 foot Ranger Tug. (I already have the pickup to pull it.) Your videos are very motivating. I noticed nothing new in a while; I hope everything is okay. With all the wind happening in Seattle right now, I hope you folks are putting together a video of how that affects you at the marina or in transit. I’d really like to learn more about that.
