To be fair, Great performed splendidly in Mazinger ZERO. He absolutely wiped the floor with Mycenae, fought Great General of Darkness to stalemate, held well against ZERO (of all things) for quite a long time, gave ZERO some beating as Great Mazinkaiser, then technically won against ZERO by enabling Minerva to "kiss" Koji, then fought Great General of Darkness to stalemate once again, then they two destroyed entire fleet of Vegan UFOs. I have yet to see how well he performs against Mazinger ZERO Jigoku, these chapters aren't translated yet. But overall... you get the idea. Oh, and it was going to rock in Shin Mazinger: Great-hen.

The Instrumental version of this was used in that 3 Part Go Nagi Gathering Video that came with Shin vs Neo Getter U believe This was used when Great here brought the Calvary in to help Z, then promptly got fucked up by Ankouku Daishougan

For being a unit everybody hates,Great Mazinger seems pretty good to me in SRW F Final. He's got some great attacks,great stats to begin with,and obviously an awesome theme. Ive always preferred Great's design to Z's design. And i prefer them both over Mazinkaiser.

Well,maybe not hate,but after reading comments from some SRW V videos,people just went crazy over Mazinger Zero and Mazin Emperor G. When i saw videos that were strictly about Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger,everybody just seemed tired of seeing them.

I mean, Z and to a lesser extent Great are kind of a staple of the non-OG games. We know what they can do, we know what their story is, et cetera. Zero and especially G brought new Mazinger stuff to the table for SRW, so naturally everyone was hyped. I have to agree Great kicks ass in F Final, by the way.

That he does.Get enough money and fully upgrade his armor stats when you first get him and the only thing that MIGHT kill him is Scirocco(that is if you took out Rosamia in the Psyco Gundam Mk.2 and got the I-field,then Great is basically invincible.

also,i have a question. after beating an SRW like say Alpha,do you keep all the accumulated stats for characters after you beat the game the first time? for instance,if i capped Kouji's XP level at 65,would he be a level 65 at the beginning of the game?
