The 41th edition 'Soorya Festival' 2017 The inaugural Carnatic concert by Padma Vibhushan Dr. K. J. Yesudas, (Thamburu Fr. Pau, Violin S.R.Mahadeva Sharma, Mridangam Thiruvarur Bakthavathsalam, Ghatam Vaikom Gopalakrishnan) marked the beginning of the 'Soorya Festival' on October 1, 2017. at AKG Hall,Trivandrum. ദാസേട്ടാ... അങ്ങയുടെ ആ മധുരമായ ദൈവശബ്ദം ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രാണനാണ്. അങ്ങയ്ക്ക് എല്ലാ ആയുരാരോഗ്യസൗഖ്യവും ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ ... പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുന്നു!

ഒരുപാട് പാട്ടുകാർ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിലും സിനിമ പാട്ടുകളും അതുപോലെ ക്ലാസിക്കൽ സോങ്ങും ഒരുപോലെ കൊണ്ടുപോയി അതിൽ രണ്ടിലും വിജയം വരിച്ച വേറെ ആരും കാണില്ല.

Wahv wahv...No word in the world can suffice to put any adjective to praise this God of music. God is great in stabilizing KJ's voice now even, at this age which was a little oscillating 10 years before.We were much worried then.. and He God of music..Long live long live ..KJ jee..

ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഈ പ്രായത്തിൽ ഉള്ള range ഒരു യുവ ഗായകനും ഒരു കാലത്തും ഉണ്ടായിട്ടില്ല ഇനി ഒട്ടു ഉണ്ടാവുകയും ഇല്ല. ഉണ്ടാവണം എങ്കിൽ ഇദ്ദേഹം പുനർജനിക്കണം. മറ്റൊരു ദാസേട്ടൻ ആയി

like a painter adding virtues to his picture with every touch of his brush with colours , shri, yesudas adds virtues to the song with every swaras he says/adds while singing. marvelous . thank god.

Great student of Great teacher Chempai Vaidhyanadh Bhagvatar.Can anyone see a play back singer who equally having knowledge in classical music like KJY.Only Yeshudas is perfect and expert in this regard.No one can reach that level.I think Rafi had Hindustani knowledge.
