I personally think mw2 looks pretty good here I think the reason it doesn't look as good as mw2019 is because of the added filters and stuff they add to mw2 and in my opinion the colors on trees and stuff for example is better in mw2

only reason it looked so good was because the lighting was exactly the same for every map in 2019, broad daylight bright sun dark shadows with great saturation.. where as mw2/3 use more global illumination from light sources so that's why the lighting is so different and there isn't a lot of contrast and and looks flat is because the light itself is bouncing and reflecting off of objects more realistically.. also just design choice is also a factor but textures themselves, there was a bump in the texture quality assets used and visuals/ gun models

"the light itself is bouncing and reflecting off of objects more realistically" Obviously neither games use any kind of ray tracing for global illumination but I would argue that if you added an infinite light bounce RTGI into it, MW2019 would look closer to that than MWII, 2019 looks more believable with its colors, contrast and shadows, MWII looks pretty washed out and flat a lot of the times which doesn't happen with 2019.@@fluxx3671

I just absolutely adore that recent COD games have been incorporating more realistic LMG reloads, where the operator actually clears the feed tray, flips it up and makes sure the belt is secure before slamming the top back down. It's just so satisfying and makes my goopy goblin gamer brain go "oo'oo aa'aa"

Each animation has it’s place. It’s just that mwII has beautiful with a little bit of show-off, while MW19 has beautiful and tactical. Both of the games have cool animations But I do really like empty shotgun animations. Idk why they haven’t made them in MW19

I still think MWII sounds good, it's just some of the guns sound way too quiet or just don't sound as crisp as MW2019 and overall i think they improved on the animation aspect even further.

@@FED0RAMWII deagle's replacing mag sound is a bit quieter, but the shots sound much more punchy and volumetric than MW19's. And slide release animation is better too, it's more brutal

@@mememan143 sounds from MWII literally sound like they were recorded right next to a mix and weren't properly tuned or mastered after and the fire sounds seem more artificial, not to mention all sounds kinda blend together unlike mw 2019 where sounds were very distinct to each weapon

not a downgrade, but they added alot of unnecessary stuff to make the animation longer and tedious like the operator fully extending their arms to throw a mag insteaf of dropping it is a little unnecessary or being too stylized for no reason. almost feels like a black ops game

MW19's Deagle had a shinier metal material, which actually looks closer to a real Deagle. MW22's weapons in general had a more muted color scheme. The M4 is a clear example. It just looks bland in MW22.

Two reasons: 1. Activision or the Devs did not want to renew their licenses with the companies that own the design and name of the weapons (Because they have virtually renamed every single licensed firearm in the game and remodeled them to avoid copyright because the multi-billion dollar corporation can’t throw out 50,000 in licensing to all the weapons for some reason) and 2: MWII’s weapons have a muted color theme. I’m not entirely sure why, but it is objectively worse. Not like absolutely god-awful by any means, but they don’t stand out or look all that impressive considering the contrast between the games. MW2019 is just a better game in terms of… Virtually everything.

@@MegaLordGaben I am not defending Activision but the reason why the weapons are not the same and do not have their original names is because of a stupid law added in 2022 by California (where Activision's headquarters is located) that prohibits the use of real models and names in entertainment media

@@diamond_dude1063 I already knew that but you're comparing "ripped off" animations with little changes to the actual original work, so which one is more impressive, the absolute gigantic step from BO4/Infinite Warfare to MW19 or a slight upgrade from MW19 to MW22? MW22 just uses MW19's blueprint so there is way more respect for the work of 2019 than 2022. MW2019 is literally a revolutionary game when it comes to the gunplay as a whole, arguably a game with best, most satisfying gunplay ever in a videogame.

Ok here's a Rant comment for MW2 and MW3. MW2 and 3 feel are never going to touch the brilliance MW19 had. And I'm not only talking about graphics. Sure the Graphics feel superior in 19 with the lighting and brighter colours, I always loved seeing MW19 visuals over the newer MW. But I'm also talking about the Storyline and Plot. Modern Warfare 2019s plot feels grounded and believable whereas 2 and 3 feel over the top action only. Like, remember the first scene in mw2019? A Guy wearing a Bomb vest steps out of a van in the middle of a city, a mother holds her kid close to herself knowing that they are doomed and there's nothing they can do about it and the scene cuts to the text "Modern Warfare", that's the kind of realism the newer MW lack. The story was believable to a point, the Terrorist groups, Chemical weapons, disputes between two countries. That felt real, something that could actually happen. I'll tell you what, I saw the MW2 campaign and felt so disconnected. Even if the story is a continuation of 2019, it felt nothing like it, to me atleast. They didn't touch upon the fact Alex was dead(or alive) until the Spec ops mission. They didn't mention any chemical weapons and suddenly shifted to the Stolen missiles stuff, I mean all of a sudden where did that come from? Urzikstan and Al-Qatala were reduced to mere fillers in the story, they could've utilised so many things so well yet it all felt so disconnected. They focused more on the over the top action with various missions(the Oil rig one, the one where Gaz hangs from a Chopper, etc). That's where the focus was for the most part in MW2 instead of the story. I don't even know what MW3 is about, the first mission is a prison break, you break Makarov out, suddenly there's a shift, he's managing everything. How? And more importantly why? They did the new No Russian mission dirty with how poorly it was executed. I expected controversy like when the OG no Russian mission was introduced in og MW2. The newer cods didn't touch on any of these Topics which for me feels a disconnect. Also the weapons progression system, who asked for an M4 which also works like a LMG and I need to unlock that in order unlock attachments and skins of the OG M4 by not even using the M4. Nobody asked for that, The simpler weapons system was great and didn't have to be touched. There are so many things I can talk about but this is all I could think of now. In conclusion, MW2019 was better than whatever crap the newer things are

Идеальный пример того, что Анимации деградировали на 1 ступень ниже. Это конечно не плохо, наоборот, мне нравится анимации из МВ22, но всё равно, это очень сильно чувствуется. Звуки, стиль анимации, оно стало немного хуже на мой взгляд. Про МВ23 я лучше промолчу, там вообще, мрак... Для меня МВ19 - это "эталон", эталон который ещё никто не сможет побить (на данный момент). В МВ19, всё просто, просто и понятно, но в то же время он брутальный и профессиональный (стиль анимации). Видно, что операторативник знает своё оружие, как с ним обращаться. Он не играет с оружием, как игрушка (как в МВ22). В МВ22 оперативник ...хотя, мне сложно назвать персонажей в МВ22 "оперативниками", там они скорее клоуны (многие скины). Может, именно из-за этого анимации в МВ22 такие... Вот серьезно, вот смотришь, и кажется, что эти анимации делали для детей каких-то (не все, но во многом). Но всё же, сами анимации очень качественные, мне даже они нравятся, но в сравнении с МВ19 это деградация.
