It's crazy to think that 13 years ago was the original MW2... The original OST that influenced my journey in music and production and thus, cementing the tradition of this channel to post COD music every year since then. MWII is for a new generation of gamers who have to make their own journey in gaming and music. It's a beautiful thing to be passionate when you're young - learning the loving the work of others and using that to improve your own self. Maybe I'm being sedimental here - but I was 17 when my channel blew up from MW2. Now I'm 30, I'm older, and possibly balder, and I for sure cannot compete with people's movements in Warzone. But hey, what a journey it has been... So.. I raise my glass of fine scotch to the next generation... some who also just love good music. 🥃

@@DualWieldedEggrolls Sarah's professional relationship with IW's Audio Director worsened to the point that she didn't feel comfortable continuing to work on the rest of MWII's soundtrack. Which was a shame since what work she did do was great. I understand why she left though. I wouldn't want to work with someone that I don't like.

That sucks they walked out, Sarah Schachner did an amazing job on the first game, and i love that piccadilly circus was added to the theme. Because it gave me goosebumps hearing it during the ending cutscene; teasing the sequel.

Sarah was the soul that was carrying these MW remasters on her shoulders alone. The remasters are meh but the epic soundtrack gets you in the mood. She even introduced "a standard motif" which is supposed to be a feature in a franchise. She's a total gaming nerd (i hear a lot of Mass Effect and early Star Wars Bioware in her music) while the top heads are clueless it appears. She's too good for Activision, and she wasnt kicked, she left on her own will - maybe its for the best that she focuses her talent elsewhere.

Everything the battlefield 2042 theme tried to be. Has that “the world is ending and it’s only going to the worse” feel while keeping a slight sense of glory in the mix.

it's funny, i feel like mw2 was off to a poor start at first just like bf2042 but it's somewhat getting better considering that we got alejandro and valeria as operators and also season 3 reloaded looks somewhat promising. there are a bit of bf2042 vibes from the overall aesthetic of mw2 as well imo

I get what the 2042 score was going for with more noise-like ambient music, given that the composer did a phenomenal job with Chernobyl. It just came off as a butcher of the iconic Bf theme. MWII’s theme doesn’t hold a candle to the original MW2 score but damn it nails the vibe of the campaign.

When I heard this soundtrack, I realized how much can be hidden behind just one song. Damn it, in one week I learned so much about the game that I used to stubbornly ignore. I got to know so many characters that I cried more than usual! And this soundtrack... I have to give you credit, it's very good. I fell in love with it. Thank you.

This theme does well at telling the campaign's atmosphere: *Spoilers ahead!* 0:00 - 0:20 TF141's assassination of Ghobrani and mission to capture Hassan seeming simple 0:20 - 0:55 The realization that Hassan has possession of American Ballistic Missiles 0:55 -1:29 The hunt is on for the missiles. Some Intel proves that a Mexican Cartel, Las Almas, is helping Hassan. 1:29 - 2:18 TF141, Shadow Company and Los Vaqueros victories over Hassan and Las Almas, foiling Laswell's Execution and the destruction of the second missile 2:18 - 2:35 Shepard and Shadow Company's betrayal to cover up that they're the ones Hassan got the missiles from 2:35 - 2:48 The temporary defeat of Shadow Company and a race again time to stop Hassan from destroying D.C...

I really loved MW 2019 but I've got to say one thing. As an og cod player from the beginning of the old MW games, MWII felt like original Modern Warfare for me because of the story and the presence of TF 141 in the game. Especially the final mission of the game when we played as Soap with Price. It just gave me the vibes of the old MW game. Really loved it's campaign. Also the character development that Infinity Ward did with Ghost in this game was on another level. 💀🔥

Honestly this has to be one of the best themes for MW2. This game was phenomenal and the campaign was awesome. It was great that how MW originally started and it tells us how every men and women do things together. I hope that they make a sequel to this game within the next few years.

It dosn't matter what game it is wether its cod iw, mw19/22 or assaasins creed if the soundtrack is done by the legend Sarah Schachner you already know that game track is gonna be fire p.s when the beta was out i would spend 10 plus minutes in the menu just listening to this like i did with the mw2019 theme and the warzone menu theme

MWII and AC Origins had the same composer, Sarah Schachner! Unfortunately she's stepping away from MWII and Warzone now :/ she did the score for Unity and helped with Black Flag, and also did the scores for CoD Infinite Warfare and helped with sound mixing with Brian Taylor on CoD: MW3

I’ll be 100% completely honest on this one!! Despite the game having some massive bugs and other issues, I’m still having a ton of fun with this game. From the campaign, multiplayer and Warzone 2, all of it is just plain fun.
