Do you recommend any mechanical filtration to collect detached seaweed from glass or some other particles? I understand that biological filtration is not required because there are no fish, sorry for the stupid question, I´m very noob in this

Your tank's looking really good, I understand you don't need a skimmer if your tank is fishless but you have a wrasse in there, so how often do you need to do a water change?

How do you control your nitrates? Im planning on getting a torch coral in the coming weeks. I run a no skimmer tank so it’s nice to see your one doing great. Also do you dose your tank with anything apart from AF.

I stopped dosing products from AF, at the moment I’m not dosing anything. Just doing with weekly water changes. ;)

If you want to get rid of these algae, you should keep those worms. They wipe out algae in highly efficiency.

Hey Fanny I have the exact same tank as you and I’m wondering how you got the flow to be a LOT less rough. Do you have a different return pump or did you do something to make it lower?

Yes, I took off the flow nozzle. The narrower the nozzle the more powerful the flow will be.

Danny's Aquariums thank you! I have taken the flow nozzle off and it’s still quite strong, so I don’t know what else do besides turn that off and just get a vortex flow thing. Thanks again though I’ll try again! :)

hmm, I'm not sure if this is an option on this return pump but on some return pump there is some type of switch to adjust the flow. On the return pump itself. Check if that's possible. ;)

I don't use a wave maker anymore. I had one for a very short period of time but the flow was too strong. ;)
