I love your choices. Yes, year 2023 was the “throw and go” year! LOL My favorites on you was Lu’s (the blonde on you was spectacular), Anatolia, and Well played. I stopped at three because I’d have to name almost all of them😘 Thanks for doing your favorites video. Marlene, you are just so beautiful in all of your wigs! Lia II is definitely on my list. Esprit was my first EW and is an absolute workhorse, it feels like s whisper on my head. I wore Esprit on my 16 hour days last summer on wildland fire assignments (not under helmets of course - I am an information officer and pop it off when I wear a helmet), and barely notice I have it on. I am giving her the winter off only because I know she will be a working girl this summer once again!

Fun video, Marlene! I've been wearing wigs for 3 years now and Ellen Wille are my favorites because they fit me so well. This was the year of EW Esprit, Dance and Aletta for me. All so easy to wear. I might check out the TA Trend in the color you have. I really like the look of it.

My favorite synthetic was also Lia II in Candy Rooted Blonde! I'm saving up for an Esprit next! These all look so great. You are definitely my favorite reviewer because I tend to like the choppier, shorter to mid-length pieces, too.

one more quick comment - you may have been living under a rock because of the color comparison between toffee truffle and shaded hazelnut, but i have been living under a rock because i only recently, just about a month ago, bought Simmer for the first time - and now i have four!!! no idea what took me so long to jump on the simmer train, but I got her in shaded biscuit, shaded cappuccino, and today, shaded wheat and shaded hazelnut arrive!!! better late than never!

Thanks for a great round-up! Liana in Silver Frost is my throw and go. For me, moonstone's roots are too dark (I need medium brown). I love the Well Played in Shaded Cappucino on you. I have it in the silver, but I think I could do the Shaded Cappucino (does it have good coverage? my hair is rather platinum at the sideburns). I got some good recommendations from you! Thanks!

Hi Monique! Thank you so much for stopping by! After I recorded this video, I realized Liana made my last year's favorites as well. I can't believe how Liana has held up so well with 2 years wear (I wear it lots!). My hair is salt and pepper at the sideburns, so I use brown root powder to match the base of SS Cappuccino, but it has great coverage. Very little of my sideburns show. xoxo Marlene

2023 was the year I started wearing wigs ! It started out scary, frustrating, and grieving losing my hair. But now I have multiple wigs and am always learning new strategies and styles. I also want a stacked and lu's hh, and raquel simmer elite! Funny story my very first wig EVER was wavy day and I remember trying it on, gasping at how i looked and put it back in the box and returned it. But now I'm between trying it again or simmer elite! I have loved learning from you and look forward to embracing wigs even more in 2024 🎉

Hi Beautiful, none of my Anatolia have been face floppers; however, when I receive wigs for my personal use (not for reviews), I comb them out, spray with water, shake, and twist the fibers back then hold with the palm of my hand. I do this regardless if they are straight or wavy. I don't do it for reviews because I want viewers to see how they look out of the box. xoxo Marlene

Anatolia has a center part and while it can be parted slightly off center, it won't be a true side part. Peppermint by Belle Tress (available in the handtied/full mono top and the left parted version with a weft cap is similar in that it's straight like Anatolia but it's not angled. The other Belle Tress that is angled is Alpha Blend (left part) but it'll have to be straightened if you want stick straight like Anatolia because Alpha Blend arrived slightly turned inward on the ends.
