I own a meteor 350. I bought a stellar variant. It comes with chrome finish on the handlebar, mirrors and exhaust. The bike has good ergonomics. The concept is cool. On flat roads it feels like a magical chair taking you through the space. But the problem starts when indian road conditions are applied. Mirrors shake too much on concrete roads. There are options of touring mirrors which come at the same cost as chrome mirrors. Yet RE didnt put those on factory setup. Many options such as touring seats come at similar cost as stock seats and yet RE offers it as an option and we have to pay for it while the stock seat rots at home. Suspension is way too stiff and no matter how i adjust it, it stays hard as rock. Again here, nitrous shocks come at a very close price compared to those that are offered. But they are sold with a fake reason of highway stability. After the 1st service console glass cracked a little. One service centre agreed to replace and another denied to cover under warranty. After 4 months passed I'm being told since one month that part is unavailable. Engine tappets have to be adjusted every 5k otherwise the engine knocks like a spoon, many people reported similar issues and re fail to offer a solution. Some guy even complained of not putting engine oil after service which led to ceased block which re refused to cover under warranty. Oil that's being offered is semi synthetic and the company schedule claims its service life of 10k kilometers. But when I checked by myself during service of 5k kilometers, oil had turned total watery black, there was no viscosity to it. It was finished. Even after that, service people took my sign for oil replacement as if i was asking for any illegal stuff. The service crew is novice and many places I found out that teenage boys are servicing our bikes. And for God's sake never visit re authorised services for minor works. Otherwise they'll eat your free service for minor chain adjustment and chain cleaning. I have been cheated with that. It is stupid business and at the end of the day you regret an elephant at 80kmph on highways while ktm adventures take you over with ease.. Dude its 350ccand can only go 112kph. An elephant.

If re adds 6th gear to this beast and may increase the speed (not the acceleration) to another 20 or 30 kmph and braking .....then its, like killer to the competitors.... Otherwise using tb 350 2016 model ... God believe me Bro for a normal person who cant afford much on high end bikes but want to cruise then considering mileage, rider and pillion comfort, torque and maneuvering in the corners... God this must b the first choice for most of the guys.... Actually i hv seen many people who will keep on changing the bikes very often i mean with new models people will sell their old bike and will go with new bike in the market. Its good but not every one can afford that. I may b of old school where a bike or car once purchased should be used till its full life where it gives a confidence in handling a bike or car as it makes us feel its our own. Considering for longer duration yes this bike will b the top amongst others.... Simple to tell, if i purchase bike in my college i can go with my girlfriend or lover to far away places.... After college if married then also we can go with wife even after wearring saree... As the backseat is not so height even we can take middle aged parents including mother's very easily and comfortably... This is the thought i actually chose tb 350 in comparision to himalayan... Its an all rounder and a multipurpose bike

While riding the bike there’s a hissing sound coming from the fuel tank continuously ( although it sometimes stops and starts ) . It is same sound that use to come while starting the bike while we turn on the kill switch. Is it normal or what?? Plz reply
