I recently picked up a 1988 Fiero GT for $14,500. Absolutely mint besides some paint cracking and chips. The interior is a lovely tan and the seats were replaced with leather ones. Only 42,000 miles. Always a hit at car shows and had multiple people ask what I’d give for it. This is my first collector car and I’ll never let it go. Even if they were offering. $5,000 more than I bought it for 😅

what a steal brother.the parts alone were worth way more than 200...such a cherry ride too.would be sweet lowered with different wheels.a friend of mine had one lowered in the 90's on some wide dayton wire wheels with whitewall tires...and i have always loved that color blue 'havent seen many that color.cant wait to see what ya do with it and the rest of your amazing collection.more vids please ;) ;) ;)

There should be a small leaver near the key that has to be pushed down in order for the key to return to the lock position and thus releasing the key.

Always great videos🤙. I come from a Little town population about 600. When I was a kid there was somebody who had one of them. And of course, they only have 2 seats so some of the family would ride on the trunk around town to the grocery store😅. . That would have been back in the early 90s.

Picked up a 1976 K10 square body last month, been having a blast cleaning and sorting things out. 350 4bbl, 4 speed, posi rear end, PS, PB, and AC.

If I'm not mistaken Pontiacs had a button or lever by the ignition switch you have to push or pull down to get the key out

That is a good buy a nice car and the parts. I was watching this when you were there to pick up the car and couldn't believe all the stuff he was including with this for $200. I knew a friend that had one and he had to junk his because the frame rails rusted out in the back of the car and the car was in nice shape. If you haven't looked at them yet you should definitely take a peek. Just a thought this car could make a nice car for Logan's first car. #burnoutbex #horticulturistlaura #teamlaura

just because a bill of sale says 200 doesn't mean that's the entire amount exchanged. there's a great tax incentive for saying 200 for both buyer and seller.

JD, I believe there is a little more to the owner's story. He had memories in that car beyond just another project car. Seeing his expression as you pulled away with it said a thousand words. My thought is that every time he looked at that car in the garage, it brought back memories he no longer wanted to think about. Perhaps he and a loved one worked on that car together and that loved one is now gone. In any case, I wish him peace. As for you JD, have fun but be careful with that monster. Lots of power, not a great deal of traction to go or stop!

I’ve watched videos with LS motors in them they drop a v8 motor and use a Cadillac front wheel drive transmission and upgrade the radiator the cars are crazy fast very cool !

Id just sell the fiero, the c10 and the bus and build your boys eclipse. Too many projects not enough time . Just like all of us with kids brother . Keep the gt500 and never sell it . I would part with the camaro and get another truck to haul with. Be practical and have the fun car , a truck daily and the 1 project car for you and the kids .

@@JD_JoyrideTV im just in the same boat with one car i have . Just dont have time to work on it and work at my job and be a parent and a husband. Every second im in a car project it takes away time with the wife at minimum and the kids too if they loose interest in the build . I have a truck and the wife has a van and i have a foxbody mustang convertible that im restoring so i can take the kids out on rides with the top down and be able to enjoy it . Once the foxbody is done then ill possibly look into something else to wrench on for my sanity but i couldnt have more than 1 project at a time 1 my wife would be pissed and the other is it will just take up space and sit for possibly years.

Complete the build and donate it to a worthy cause such as Wounded Warriors, or others disabled vets organizations to use to raises funds for them, or an organization like St Judes Children's Hospital, or the Make A Wish foundation to help them raise money for the kids they work with to bring a sick/dying child a chance to have a dream of theirs come true before it's too late for them as they have died

Not all homeless people are bad people but many are good people who are in bad situations. I have met a lot of homeless people and have friends who are or have been homeless. In fact I have been homeless myself and now help out the homeless when I can but have learned the signs of which ones to be cautious of. I am fortunate to have gotten a ln apartment and have been able to allow a few homeless people a short term staying with me as my lease doesn't allow me to have others staying with me for longer than a few days each. I myself am still living in poverty so can't afford a car like that but have always loved Fieros.
