nice bike, I have the same one, 2021. Had it for about a year now and absolutely love it. I see on DynoJets website they only have off-the-shelve maps for stock exhaust and intake, did you use this map on yours before you dyno tuned? Wondering if the stock map plays nice with a slip-on exhaust because I have the Akrapovic as well. Thanks!

Another new subscriber from Japan. Moved here 4 years from California and going to buy this bike after I finish my motorcycle school in a few weeks. Love the mods, you gave me some great ideas for my future CB250R after I get some kilometers under my belt. No 300 here because there is a 251cc+ requirement of mandatory biannual vehicle inspections that can be a bit costly (like a smog check on steroids where they check everything), which is why the 250cc market is extremely popular here. Roads here are well maintained unlike New York, so probably don’t need off road tires like you do :)
@Mr300OG

The off road tires were for fun/aesthetic. The added grip it provides just comes in handy. Congrats on almost finishing school and enjoy the bike when you get it!

Safety should be your first priority with mods. These lights, front and back, can get you into trouble. They just don't read on the road -- but also, you discuss serious technical problems with both. Make safety much more of a priority. Don't actually make the bike worse at critical spots like this. We want to have you around.

You should get look at the crash guards from sw-motech. I own a 2019 cb1000r and a fz10, but looking at buying a 3rd bike to turn into a scrambler/stunt bike. There’s something about a small cc bike that makes it so much fun. I believe it’s because if the low weight.
@edwardortiz5516
@edwardortiz5516 3 жыл бұрын
Cool video...... I just had my bike stolen (Yamaha R3) and I am thinking about getting this bike. How do you feel it holds up to the city? I live in Queens and I do mostly city (neighborhood) riding. I love the small cc bikes and I crack on my friends that have big 1000 bikes because they never get to really ride them. I always tell them they are riding scooters because in NYC you can't really get out of 1st gear with a 600 or 1000. With the 300's you get to ride the gears and I personally love that and I feel like I'm actually riding my bike vs. a scooter lol. Two questions..... do you feel the bike has enough power and can you ride a second person on the bike? Thanks in advance and keep up the good work!
@Mr300OG
@Mr300OG 3 жыл бұрын
I’m sorry to hear about your bike man! Ppl need to chill out and work for their own instead of taking from others! The bike def has enough power for the city. You can dip and dodge and do what you need to do. As you can see, I dynotuned mine and put a power commander in there and it increased torque and hp but even without that it’s quick enough. I don’t think it’s comfortable for two ppl unless your passenger is a kid or very light. I rode once with my ex and didn’t feel comfortable hitting the turns. It’s possible to do but I wouldn’t recommended it. I hope you get the bike! The fam is here waiting for ya ✊🏾

@Mr300OG
@Mr300OG 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Unfortunately I don’t. I just assume they come/do as they sound. Short would be the very small small and very close to the body. Under tail would be a bit further back...under the tail. I have the full Yoshi exhaust (pipe and can) on my 2019 CB300R, and while I like it, it's loud, and can be annoying on longer rides. IMO. I got it for the 8 pound weight savings over the stock exhaust, but for me, I wish it was quieter.

It did fine stock on the highway. Just gotta be mindful of and know how to handle the wind. It’s a light bike so you’ll feel yourself shift. After DynoTuning mine and adding I the power commander, it ran at a consistent and strong 85. Wind didn’t seem to impact that much after which is weird lol But just make sure you’re comfortable with the wind above all and you’ll be good

I appreciate that you love your bike and so you should; but in my opinion for a informative video there is 25 to 30% bloat in time wasting drool or something which makes it necessary to click through the video a few seconds at a time frequently just to get to the actual information. You seem like a nice guy & i do not wish to be unkind; but from a information point of view it could be greatly improved on & still shown your love for bike and products. You have some nice mods on it. But I notice while your new rear tyre has beefy grip you still have a normal road tyre on the front. I would find a way to refit that rear fender which your new tyre required you to remove. Love the front indicators but not the fit of them. {Bad design flaw in that} K&N air filters cost between 3 to 4 times that of a standard air filter. They are way over priced. They also have no performance value unless you are thrashing the bike a lot in the upper RPM area and you open up the standard air induction area. That long tube is still the actual intake air restriction. But most bikes ever made would benefit from a carefully orchestrated increase in air induction orifice/s. That tail lights operation is such a fail in the manner of operation and no matter that you are mindful of it makes your bike not roadworthy; simply because it does not perform as the law requires. It also puts you in danger in case anyone does not notice the one or two blinks it does; if it blinks at all when it was supposed to. It is however your bike & you do have some interesting add-ons to it. Happy riding and thanks for your time. Oh last thing; I hate that big bang you put on every time you introduce another mod. Sorry but that would have me never watch your videos again. Too anoying for me. If others love it watch it all you like. I hate it.
