Bro I’d say just stick with the zl1 if u still owe money on it quit car hopping and losing money especially if ur trying o get your house built. C8 is gonna be there in the future and then when they drop a z06 ur gonna want that or something better trust me there’s no such thing as car satisfaction.

98% of cars are a depreciating asset.....meaning your never gonna make money on a car, especially a new car under 100k.

Fun fact, I grew up in Sebring/AvonPark, where the color Sebring Orange is named after. They have an International Raceway and an event called the 12 Hours of Sebring every year or so. It’s a huge Corvette/Porsche niche bc it’s an older community, also the color orange because the main thing we grow in Highlands county is Orange trees/groves, they’re literally everywhere

RP, in my opinion, I would say just stick with the ZL1, and put all your money and attention on that beautiful home you’re building. Stack the money just in case stuff hit south and just wait till next year. For a new car. Either way, you seem smart so I know you know what you’re doing. Good luck.

Sounds like if u loose your job (hypothetically) then having a bigger auto payment and no job means the wife’s going to have to cover it all if she works and that’s probably going to stress her out then u kno the drill. No money NO HONEY.

I went from 1100 to 2000 Status about 2 weeks before all this crap started....So there is something between 1100 and 3000...The dealer got 4 allocations and I was #1 when they got them and it was pushed to GM. Checked with the Concierge about it before all this stuff and was told to check back in 30 days to see if it had moved to 3000 status...I was wondering if mine would even get built from all the rumors floating around. Really surprised that I haven't seen much on KZfaq about this situation....

My C8 is currently on status 3000 over at Davis Chevrolet . I decided to go with accelerate yellow which is why my built week is on April 25th. Can you see what delay would be for me? Or is it too early to tell

Dang RP I literally built mine identical to yours except I splurged for the carbon flashed rims, sick spec. They sent my order to factory on March 8 for my dealership and I don’t know what’s happening with mine either. They told me 6-8 weeks for car to get there but we will see if it ever comes now.

what if your at status 4000? what does that mean? I feel for you brother. Is it worth waiting till sept to get your 2020 c8. your c8 will be 9 months old "New." Might as well change it to 2021. thank you for the video, but you skipped 4000.

What I think is funny is that we have to stand at a distance from people but when we go to a fast food places like three or four different people touch our food . On a different note why no z51 package ?? At the least get that . Also if and when this is all over and I drive to your dealership to order a C8 will you charge me msrp or is there a mark up ??

I think the C8 will be in abundance next year and will not go up in price because when they make the Z06 no one will pay more money for a stingray and they will not sell if they raise the price ...

Your dealership being open is a key example of a business that gives zero f**** about anyone except the all mighty dollar. Tell them to do their part and shut down. Stay home and stop the spread. Go out and get yourself or someone you love sick.

I gotta tell ya, the car community is one of the only communities that are full of idiots. Car hopping isn't smart at all, especially from a financial standpoint. You're young dude. This is where your money is critical because your life is just starting. It's alright to sit in a car for a while my guy. Having the latest and greatest all the time to impress a bunch of weirdos isn't the move unless you can really afford it. Just chill with the car you got and put your money elsewhere.
