I did the trd lift kit to be factory and I regretted,first the road noise second the needed bearing,third the sensors spending money in a brand new truck,so i took it off,the vibration went away,no more problems with the sensors,no more road noise,and the warranty is still in effect 😅

It's been a year since you posted. I would be interested in what issues you're having with a three inch spacer. It's not the best choice for a lift. I would bet that your ride quality is rough, especially going over uneven roads or speed bumps. Before you ruin that good looking truck switch to bilstein schocks, with an ome spring for lift, get a set of JBA upper control arms to help with the angles. The tires do look tough but your gas mileage is going to drop alot and I'm guessing that the truck will not stay in overdrive on the highway so you might consider going with 4.88 gears on that rear end to help with those big ass tires. I'm a Toyota guy. I've had several tacomas going back to the first gen all the way to the third gen. My daily driver right now is a 4runner with a Wescott three inch kit. Take care of that truck. It will never let you down.

Those gears alone are $5,500 to have done minimal , your asking him to also put on $600 control arms ! Yes if he decides to drop another $10,000 into it , it might not let him down right away

There is much more about this luxury off-roader than you have yet to learn. The video is more about your personal likes and loads of "I dunnos." Drive it for a thousand miles and then make a knowledgable video about the many more great features you'll discover about the Limited. For example, you've already begun to convert the Limited into a more aggressive truck with those badass tires. There are lots of other choices a new Limited owner, could opt into, or out of. Enjoy the new toy.

Hey Tyler! I have this exact same truck, except mine is a ‘23. I bought it new back in January and plan to lift it and put some tougher tires on it, keeping the factory wheels like you did. Looks good! Question: for your lane departure feature, does your truck actually steer or just beep when you drift out of a lane? Mine seems to only give an audible warning. Thanks

FINALLY I found someone with the same 18's that I have and lift it. I been looking for vids of how it would look like, as I want to lift and buy new tires but I love my stock 18 wheels (my Tacoma is the Blacked Edition, so all is Black) How Bad is the rubbing? Spacer size? Need to trim?? Beautiful truck mate.

Yessir Thankyou! And lift is a 3 inch leveling kit, just a puck and 33x12.50 nitto mud grapplers and yes I rub pretty bad but could fix it with some trimming !

Even on the high end XSE Camry, you dont get hood struts. But you should have just gotten yourself the SR5 4x4 like mine then modded it out. I can't have a truck and make it look like a beast but not have 4 wd... I'd feel weird about it.

I I have a 16 sr5 so I already have 1.5 spacers on red lock rite and torqued to 120lbs can I just do a 3 inch level on just the front and run 33s 285s??

If you're gonna offroad a lot its going to rub because offroad the suspension needs to compress in and out. If its just for cruising regular streets just the lift will suffice most of the time. I have friends who offroad hard trails a lot and they first make 33's and up not rub with no lift at all, to make sure it doesnt rub when they go offroading.

Does it rub with 2" wheel spacers? I have same twin 2020 model limited with only 49k miles I just bought last week. I ordered KSP 1.5" wheel spacers all away around and KSP 3" front level kit like yours. I went with 33x12.50R18 Nitto Ridge Grappler's instead of mud because I do alot of highway traveling. Should I remove front shroud and mudflaps to give it the nice look of your's?

@@Emeraldcoastking you're lucky cuz I get 15/17 I got the manual & drive it in the city no matter if I drive it all crazy or like a 🐢 it still gets the same ⛽ mileage maybe 2 MPG worse but never 20 MPG, mine is 🦴 stock with 35 PSI in the tires & I've put amsoil in the front diff, rear diff, transmission & redline MT-LV in the transfer case! Just a 🐖 no matter how u slice it

Not THE WHEEL SPACERS bro do you’re research for crying out loud. People out here act like there isn’t internet. Wheel spacers are for people that just don’t do research and gain free information!! Bro there’s a tonnnn of wheels that will be flushed again the wheel hub. Looks much better and you don’t have to worry about the correct torque. Folks don’t do what this kid did , just don’t.

$300 for a set of SpyderTrax spacers vs $1000 minimum for a set of decent looking wheels with the correct offset. Quality spacers have been proven to be safe. It's not that difficult to get the correct torque.
