I ordered my 2024 F350 Lariat Ultimate/Sport back in February and received it at the end of April. I put 3000k miles on it and the ac compressor went bad. That was June 10th. Larry H. Miller in Mesa, AZ told me there is a back order due to high number of the new super duties experiencing this issue. It's now July 11th and there is no end in site as to when a new compressor will be arriving. Hopefully you won't have this issue. Good Luck!

I order one on the 8th of July, I wish it was here already. How was the updates from Ford? Good communication? Also, how do you like it, what engine? Gears?

@@kmonto1971The updates from Ford were good. Got a email in an about week after placing the order, saying what week it was schedule for production. The shipping time frame took like 4 weeks. Took less then a week to ship from KY to IL by rail, then it took almost 3 weeks from IL to my dealer in WI by car carrier. I’m impressed so far with the engine 7.3, but only gave a couple of hundred miles on it. Overall I absolutely love it.

I ordered a F250 on Memorial Day 2024. It was built within a month and now is in Oregon waiting to ship to my dealer.

Cool truck. We learned over the 4th that five people and the toy hauler sucks. Pulled up in the rain and had to shuffle all the shit around in and out of the cargo bay while three kids had nowhere to go. Looking at an East to West but also used. I’m sick of getting my shit pushed back in when I want to trade them in. There’s people like me that take really good care of their stuff. Sick of these depreciation hits.

It seems like people are more wary of used vehicles these days. They legit don't make em like they used to and with all the fancy tech and gadgets in vehicles these days, I know I'm far more wary than I used to be of taking home something where I don't know how it was treated for a year or two or three.

The only time I ever made out on a trade was when we traded for our current fifth wheel, they gave us every penny we paid for our previous travel trailer, but that was in the middle of the Covid crap.

i have a 22 - 5500 ram limited as a welding rig/family vehicle and i love it, still capable with 360HP, i decided to look into the F450 lariat just because i am always looking, i was impressed but the interior i felt still didnt match the ram OTHER than the seats. the fully recline seats were awesome. However the power difference was very noticeable, i believe Ford was 330 HP, i hooked up to my fifth wheel which is a 38FT montana and the ford struggled in compairson to the ram. I wish they would up the power on the C&C, my 2007 5.9 with G56 almost pulled better than the ford but that could have been due to the low end toque of the cummins. Are you good with the lower HP numbers vs ram?

106 in Utah? I know there’s some desert up there, just seems weird. I’m betting it’s not like 106 like here in south louisiana. Too cold up there in the winter, can’t do snow.

My 22 lariat took 5 months but I didn’t order bed liner and the active steering. Ordered a couple days after the 22’s opened but got it in August of 21

Ordered July 11, 2023 2024 King Ranch 450 still waiting …priority code 9…I also ordered same date a 350 king ranch dually I got it in April nothing but problems with truck entire ac system compressor condenser evaporator replaced 2 times precollision system not working parts are on back order unknown till when so no cruise control or safety features Ac went out again this weekend replaced it with a new 2024 450 platinum antimatter blue let see …truck shakes like hell at 60-70mph

@@kmonto1971 if it makes you sleep better I had a 2023 highout put for 6 months no issues …I was at dealer yesterday to balance new 450 the minute I walked up the service advisor said don’t tell me electrical issue or ac I said no not yet just balance …lmao so get ready ….they balanced it rides better but still shakes like hell

I think ford still is your better choice but those built in the last months major issues just google it you will see it in all the forums I think their parts dealers are going cheap and sending them crap causing problems in the 2024 your best bet is also to go and speak with some services advisors ….ive been driving these trucks for over 20years and a crap load of them and never any problems until 2024

@@moriorinvictus6522 I appreciate the feedback, that is for sure. I heard a lot of problems with the 2020 - 2022 models read a few about the ACs for the 2023 models. So far, probably because of the low miles but everyone seems pleased with their 2024 ones. My build date has been assigned to August 12th.

Owner operators run lariat hot shots. Fleet owners, run XL or XLT. So, you are appealing to only owner operators or someone who would drive for you, if you bought it. Nice truck though!

So has the dealer ordered 3 in your name with you not playing on driving them/owning them? Man how many dealers and folks like you playing this game which maybe keeping others from being able to get one they have ordered or not available on the lot for purchase because of allotments?
