I had a Hobonichi in 2021 from the site (the anniversary edition) it was such an excellent layout but I really didn't have a good plan to use it. That combined with the Tomoe River Paper made it really unpleasant for me to use. Since then, I used a Jibun Techo and now I have such a better idea of how to take advantage of the Cousin layout and the New Tomoe River Paper by Sanzen is so much better for dry time and gel pens I actually really like the new paper even more than the old paper. I am so excited for 2024 to start using the Cousin again! I hope the way nicer paper and the experience I got from my other planners makes it go well next year!

I hope you enjoy it more in 2024 :) I have tried the Jibun Techo also and loved it, but for some reason I still feel more comfortable with Hobonichi.
