Have to say, this is the most impressive in depth review and prediction video I have ever watched, kudos for the knowledge of every squad. Stoke fans have discovered something new for us this off season, hope! We finally have a plan both on and off the pitch, which has been completely missing for the last six-seven years. By the close of the window it is likely to be 12-13 signings and finally removed all the deadwood we have carried for far too long. It might not click, but if it does ... The thing that people underestimate about Leeds that are outside the Leeds sphere is the quality of the young players in their squad, Joseph, Gyabi, Bate, Hjelde, Cresswell, and especially Archie Gray this boy is just turned 17 and he is going to be special.

tbh as leicester fan so i might be bias i think many people are underestimating us and enzo marshica i think we will boss the championship and we have made great signings

The Hull City shout is a poor one 4th least goals conceded when he came in, Our owner has learnt from his mistakes from hiring a pal/straight from Turkey only issue is scoring but the signings we’ve made has shown that they are planning to rectify that

Southanpton supporter here; I like your prediction but can't share your enthusiasm. Of coure I still hope they go up, but if they do it will be as a playoff team - and I fear the pressure of the playoffs may be too much for them. They're being short-sighted by holding out for top prices for JWP and Lavia and who knows who else. They'll eventually sell - for prices not too different from the current offers - but it will be too late in the window for them to turn that money around to get a proper striker. Same thing happened when they waited so long to sell Danny Ings that they couldn't get a decent replacement.

I’d be absolutely over the moon with 13th given the last few years at blues, but tbf it does depend heavily on who we sign during august. We haven’t signed anyone on loan yet as far as I’m aware, so it does sort of feel like we could really improve our squad over the next few weeks. Like I said tho, 13th would be brilliant for me

Interesting predictions as a Leeds fan, I had Leicester down to absolutely piss the league. I do think Leeds may struggle a little, we've kept a lot of our best players as things stand, but it's very much a transitional year, we could win it by a mile, we could finish 10th, nobody really knows. As a Wednesday fan it’s quite annoying about the timing of all of these championship predictions because as soon as everyone puts us down we start making signings 😂

As a Watford fan I am hopeful for this upcoming season. Over the last 2 seasons we have been a team which relies on individual brilliance, but with the departure of Joao Pedro and Sarr, I think we will be more of a team. We need a couple more signings.

I'm a Hull boy and I get that outside of the city we don't get a lot of faith which is fine, However 'Liam' Rosenior will survive the season he is very much beloved here. I can also understand your POV on us, but I legit think that this season we are going to surprise a lot of people which could be recency bias. Our squad has really built up well and is starting to come together very nicely and i'm quite excited for our upcoming season.

As a Leeds fan I agree we will be top 2 I think the new ownership is incredibly serious about keeping our best players several who really are just too good for this level. More smart recruitment to come with exciting youth breaking through like Archie Gray and Matteo Joseph

As a Preston fan I find our analysis intriguing as from the outside there seems to be a wide consensus we'll be 18-21 whereas from the inside (assuming Cannon comes) there is a real widespread optimism and I think its becuase for the first time in years no top 6 expectation. While our squad hasn't got the top end its had in years gone by almost every area we feel stronger and finally have depth. So I genuinely can't place us atm. Part of me says its not a spectacular team and we'll come 15th but part of me feels like with the truly good vibes around the club for the first time Since 2019, tactical versatility, deoth and Lowe finally backed it feels like the cards on the table for a sneaky run at the playoffs

I agree on Stoke. Solid business this season and no pressure on them.

I respect the prediction of hull city they have been inconsistent for years now but watching them in pre season against some decent teams they look really promising. Still need a few signings but the way they’ve been playing out from the back and one twos from the centre to wings it looks exciting. They way they’re front line can chop and change and rotate works really well. I think they’ll finish top half if they can get consistent good results

I feel like as a Newcastle fan I have a special connection with the championship. Like your first girlfriend who you never ever ever want to see again. We had success but my god it wasn’t pretty. It’s such a hard league I think predictions for it are much harder than the prem. honestly, I hope Sunderland get promoted. Maybe we can finally win a derby now 😂

One player to watch out for this season is De Norre, can’t believe more people aren’t talking about him. No idea how Millwall have got hold of him, will be close to player of the season along with Flemming and Nisbet I think

agree with most of your points about leicester however we have an average age of 24.3 across our 24 man squad that doesn’t sound very ageing to me. i understand a lot of our important players may be getting old however we have enough young players to deal with that

I agree about Leicester in my opinion Maresca is a bit of a risk for me. Leeds have by far the best manager of the 3 teams that came down. You should hear the Leeds fans. All doom and gloom. I'm a Leeds fan and we are playing really nice football in pre season and Ampadu is a premier league player so that was great business. He is going to run games and the talent in the final 3rd as we are now is crazy for the champ.

As a fellow qpr fan, we need to build from the ground up (and I hate to say this but) like Brentford have, so going down might be the best thing for us but then we will bring in a lot less money which may hurt us badly with the fines we are paying, it’s a tricky one

I think with Boro it all depends on the next few signings, if the squad stays how it is we will struggle to scrape playoffs but with the right signings we could kick on and maybe trouble the automatics

Yeah i've not really gotten the Leicester "walking the league" hype either. Defensively they're set but their midfield is really lacking creativity after sales compared to Southampton/Leeds who (as things stand) have kept onto a lot of their best attacking players. Obviously that could change with the window.

This is the first prediction I've seen where leeds have actually been correctly considered for immediate promotion. Most ppl putting them in 6th, 7th only see the outgoings and overlook the depth in quality we have at championship level

Agree on most of these, other than Huddersfield should use Colin's experience to finish in the play-offs and Leeds to flirt with relegation but ultimately to stay up.

You’ve got us 7th due to playoff hangover, I think it could go the other way and we get playoffs and win it due to the experience and understanding the pressure

As a Boro fan i can defiantly see where you're going with this one. I've thought throughout this summer Akpom will leave but looks like he's staying. I think what you can't consider for any team is loan signings from prem clubs and that's something will start to see drip down into Championship maybe from next week. We did some great business last season and some of our better players where loans. Giles, Ramsey and Archer all first 11 starters at back end of season. I think somewhere between 2-4 is our position.

Most ballsy predictions yet having QPR, Rotherham and Plymouth all staying up (for some reason) As a Wednesday fan I certainly don't think we will go down, don't really understand why fans of other clubs seem to think we are in a bad way when we aren't. We just have a yappy little owner that's all 😂 fans are on side, plenty of experience, starting to get some exciting signings in. Think we will be fine

On the whole topic of Sheffield Wednesday- In terms of being "fans of Moore", it's actually being hinted at that it was quite the opposite towards the end... Most of the squad are absolutely relishing the sort of football that new manager Xisco Munos will be bringing to the table, plus the new signings that are coming in the door now, it seems like Sheffield Wednesday's season is going to struggle until around November, but then will finally gel & click with the system and begin to push on around Christmas time and onwards from there. We were going to be behind given we came up via the playoffs anyway, but with Moore's departure over seemingly wage demands of his and his backroom staff coming out of absolutely nowhere which forced the split between club and staff, that also put us about 3 weeks behind everyone else too. Yes it will be a beginning struggle, but I don't think it will be a relegation struggle.

25:36 re: Stoke spending money "all the time"... Rowett spent big that first season down, then the past 4 years they've not spent a penny, been frees and loans. This window has been the first time they've spent anyhting in ages, and even then, they've managed to bring in 11 players so far for the princely sum of ~£5m.

Hi James as a life long QPR fan myself 55 years now for my sins, I too am concerned about our depth I feel we maybe able to stay strong and keep out many goals against but our problem will be scoring so 1-0 victories will be all I can see ever happening for us. Because as proved last season the attacking line up for us get the chances but couldn't hit a barn door from 2 feet. This and many things need to be resolved we have brought players in but they are not fit enough to start which is a huge concern for a solid start. Also I feel GA needs to stop playing Chair & Willock on opposite wings they need to play next to each other to get the best out of the pair only time will tell and will be a very interesting season to be honest come Christmas we will know what and where we are.

As a Ipswich Fan I'd be so happy with 11th this season and in a way want that being in Playoffs and possibly getting promoted does frighten me, our squad is a great Championship squad, great owners and a future England manager, just think with the younger lads in squad they could use a extra year in Championship so they are better prepared for a Prem step up.

norwich feels a bit harsh to me, sargent has been misused massively by spending half the season on the wing, he’s been given the no. 9 shirt and will thrive in a team without pukki
