This is actually really sad. I've lived here in Billings my whole life and I was never really interested in the stage as a kid. Now that I'm older I have a much deeper appreciation for the relics of a time long passed. I have nostalgia for the old CEC franchises even though I wasn't alive for them. I'm just very sad that our location is in this state of disrepair. I probably won't return anyways...

Dang, look at Jasper's eyes. Just goes to show how little corporate cares about these 80's and 90's time capsules. Within 7 months we'll probably have very very little 3 stages or none. EDIT: Augusta has gotten 2.0 I want to cry so much.

This hurts 💔. I always loves animatronics since going to chuck e back in the early 2000s days. It sucks that entertainment is out. Idc how nightmare fuel they can be, these animatronics are my childhood. I remember getting on stage thinking I was the ish.

I love the little tape labels, especially the one with Rolfe’s name on Stage Right! Really makes me sad to see how corporate has let this stage go considering how well kept it was. Poor Jasper/Beach Bear with those lazy eyes… 😔 One thing in particular too that I like about this stage is how the walls right next to it are angled just like the old showbiz walls, even though they don’t have that wood texture on them. Just looks aesthetically nice!

I had NO idea this was here…born and raised Missoulian, with family in Billings and Hardin. Spent many a summer with my aunties in Billings, but never went here. Too bad, looks like it was probably a lot of fun back in the day… Love seeing my state featured💕

I’m a Billings resident and I have to say, I thought the animatronics were already gone. I’m pretty surprised. The last time I was there was probably around 1990 when I was a kid. And it definitely used to be a Showbiz Pizza. In fact, I’ve never been in it after the switch.

As someone who spent more time than i care to recall at this Chuck E Cheese, and whose household got sick nearly every time we went, i cant say im sorry to see the chain go. Businesses arent time capsules & cant be run as museums. I hope theyve been able to get one of the stages accessioned into a museum (not in billings, neither has that kind of storage), but theyd have to be willing to donate it.

The gang is extremely in poor condition, seems like they gave up on them. Poor things, most of the animatronics in world basically don't work or have something horribly wrong with them. Glad some of the stages are still being taken care of.

Their condition went downhill once they were bought from corporate, shows how much they don’t care. It’s so disappointing to see this, especially after seeing how good this stage was. They even removed Munch’s hat. What happened to when CEC cared?

25 years ago I would go here when my mom was shopping in the other stores that have since disappeared. I'd only play arcade games though like TMNT and Metal Slug. I'm pretty sure the animatronics were behind a separate wall. Probably to reduce the noise from the jungle gym. I'm surprised its still open.

I actually use to work there, when I did Jasper wasn't working at all, a long with his stage light.

If you love Showbiz easter eggs, I don't know if you know or not but during Christmas time, the Huntsville, Al location has a few! They always put some gifts around the stage, and when I went in 2022 there was a gift that was for Billy Bob and it said it was to bear retirement village! And I didn't see this one, but I saw in a video that there is a gift in the shape of Billy Bob's guitar!

honestly, they remind me of the wilmington nc store before they closed. they had a bad dryer for their compressor, so water calcified the valves and movements stopped working towards the end

It was nice to see you checking on building, but what about moon... I didn't see you checking on moon!!! I know that building is either behind Helen or Jasper, well moon is behind the other one!!! You are so lucky that you get a chance to visit locations that still has all of the characters or none of them has the characters... because my location doesn't have any of them left, but I'm fine with that!!!

Ok so like most people in the comments here, i too used to go to this chuck e cheese as a kid. In like 2017 or so (i forgor) I went there in the first time in YEARS with my friend kind of as a joke (i remember not telling him where we were going lol) and cus i wanted to revisited and actually had so legit fun there. as for what the state of the animatronics where ATT I cant remember if they had them playing. I came across this vid to see what year the CEC opened because i was curious if it was a showbiz originally and i found this video and, by god i cant believe their still there (well at least 4 months ago). I thought they already got rid of them I thought i herd someone mention they were gone. Also I was wondering if they were the rock a fire refitted one too so thats cool to know (also that it has some old stuff that some other places dont have). But yeah its not really surprising that their like this now, sadly. I can't imagen theirs been much of a budget to go around fixing them, especially now that they are going to be screens eventually (heck they might actually be gone by the time i comment this). So even if the owners want to fix them corp wont since their been forcing places to remodel (i think? i could be wrong) or not really want to invest in them. Kind of sad, too, now that i actually have some interest in them due to nostalgia. Thanks for making this vid its nice to see these guys up all these years later despite their condition.

I wonder why there's nobody that's not bought out a good chunk of Chuck E Cheese stores and just refurbished the animatronics because I think kids and adults would gravitate more towards the animatronics than these new dance floors they're putting in the store's now because to put in the dance floors a lot of stores have to take away a large chunk of their rides and games floor and the spot where a lot of stores would have had their jungle jim
