2:54 ok, what is that RAM with the pure solid metal heat sink? i can't find it online, your link in the discription doesn't work and when i google " PNY XLR8 Gaming Mako" nothing comes up, that looks like yours. nice build btw.

I think this showcase build will be very difficult to maintain when you’re lugging it around from place to place. There’s always a possibility of one the pipes bursting out liquid; and I think hardline cooling could actually be very fragile in travel situations with constant movement. The 3090 as a beefy GPU could perform efficiently with some undervolting, and there could’ve been at least some performance room here for the i7-12700K. At any point did you guys consider undervolting the 3090 and either the i7-12700K or the i9-12900K CPU to to try to fit it in?

We could probably switch to a 12700k now given the headroom especially if we undervolted, but I have had zero success with a 240mm AiO and a 12900k even with heavy under-volting. TBH at 1440p we are heavily GPU dependent not CPU dependent and the 12600k does a more than decent job of passing frames back and forth. Limitation will be at super high FPS games like Fortnite or APEX and let's be honest I am not good enough for needing higher than 240FPS :) i definitely get your concern about the the travel but it needed to be a showcase build. So it will be traveling in a Pelican case and more than likely drained before traveling fur sure!
