My husband and I suffered 4 miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy before we were able to pin point the issue. I have hypothyroidism and my body was basically fighting the pregnancy like it was an illness! I had no idea that could happen and since getting on medication for that, we have had 2 successful pregnancies since then! I know it’s not everyone’s answer, but I like to spread awareness and help anyone that I can! I pray you guys get your little miracle! I will be praying 🙏

Women support other women, even though I am 63, and my biggest loss was the loss of my soulmate husband who passed away from cancer at 43 yrs old when our son was 4 yrs old(I believe I have shared that with you before). But I'm just trying to say even though I personally have not gone through the loss of miscarriage, I hear your pain, your uncertainty for the future, this is a safe space to be afraid, no judgement from me, just words of comfort, wisdom to some degree, my age and all. I'm so so sorry for your loss Lauren. My mother had 4 miscarriages. One before she had me and 3, when I was a teenager. It broke my heart and she later found out, she had hyperthyroidism. I pray that you will be comforted and that God will show you your path to healing both physically and mentally and if there is a health issue involved, that you will be able to figure out the best way to heal. I’m so sorry. I understand the pain of wanting the baby you lost, and it is fair to have and want time to grieve that baby. My mother had 9 miscarriages before having her first baby and was later able to have three kids. Her story always made me afraid that I’d have a similar problem with keeping pregnancies. My worst fear came true when I lost my first pregnancy a week before this past Christmas. I feel so guilty and just want answers and am nervous about the next pregnancy as I don’t know if my story will be like my moms. I'm commenting before I finish the video, a friend of mine is going through this, she recently found out that the folic acid in her prenatal vitamin was potentially hurting the baby, I guess some women have some adverse effects to it which ends up in miscarriage. So sorry for your loss. My first pregnancy was a miscarriage and then I had my daughter then my third pregnancy I had another miscarriage and then I had my son. I have RH negative blood type and I always felt that was the reason for my losses but the doctors always said that was not the cause. The only thing that helped me was believing and knowing God has a purpose for all things and that maybe they was something wrong that the baby may have not been able to live a normal and healthy life here on earth. This is going to sound crazy to many but there’s research out now about prenatal vitamins contributing to miscarrying. I intuitively knew I wasn’t comfortable with supplementing outside of my diet when I got pregnant, and I even don’t eat meat. I’ve eaten very consciously during my pregnancy and went to a nutritionist to test my levels halfway through my pregnancy and everything was perfect. Just saying it’s something you guys should look into. It obviously differs diet to diet and person to person but very interesting the research that’s coming out.

I missed that baby I miscarried I wanted that baby in my arms😢 it’s okay to miss that baby and we still consider our miscarriage baby as our daughters big brother. I know many people think they aren’t a “baby” yet so why would they be part of the family.. I feel differently and that’s ok! I would recommend going to a natural holistic doctor. I got some herbs to support my hormone health postpartum and I really believe in healing our bodies from the inside out with what the world naturally has! There may be herbs that can support your hormones or to help clear out any inflammation which can cause trouble with pregnancy. I named my baby, it was a very early loss, 22 years on 22nd Jan. I had trauma as a result of how I was treated at hosp. I planted a tree in their memory and someone painted a picture (it was a tree name) with the date. Those things made it seem less about the trauma, and more about my child. It's important to deal with grief instead of just holding it, best wishes to you.

I have 2 children out of 8 pregnancies, and I had to go to bed to carry the 2 I have, and it was worth all the heartache. just treasure the kids you have and never give up hope

I’ve had three losses back to back. The first pregnancy was a surprise, but I quickly miscarried. I immediately got pregnant again (wasn’t planned once again) right after I miscarried and I thought that that was the one. Two months later I lost that one too. It was so devastating. Currently 9 weeks pregnant and I’m on progesterone. I believe mine is 200mg twice a day. It’s a pill that you put up there. They recommended baby aspirin for me, but I haven’t been taking it as much.

Was on progesterone suppositories and pio injections for first pregnancy till 37 weeks. My levels were checked every week and every week they were below cover. So maybe check ur prog levels and once pregnant have them checked every 2-4 days in the beginning and then stretch them out if levels look promising. W second baby I also did progesterone but mainly because I was nervous. Dr said there is no harm in checking blood levels and taking suppositories. Just know pio injections, aka progesterone in oil injections is the best form of progesterone but a bit invasive and can be painful. Message if you ever want to know more. Will be praying for you. When he gave it to me after I had a miscarriage because the baby detached… he told me the prenatal plus would help the baby to attach and stay attached. After getting on it we ended up pregnant almost right away and I stayed on it during the pregnancy. I am praying for you

My daughter’s doctor put her on baby aspirin while she was trying for a baby. It also helps prevent high blood pressure in mom. As soon as your first missed period test and take the progesterone. I hope this helps

I had to take progesterone right after i found out i was pregnant with both of my kids. I would bleed at the very beginning and would be cramping, but the progesterone helped to stop the bleeding. From how my doctors office explained it to me, the progesterone has to be at a certain level or between a certain number really. With what mine was at, it could go either way. So sorry for your loss

Wow... Girl, I wish we could just sit down and chat because you are describing all of the feelings I've had on the subject. It totally SUCKS! And although your two boys are recognized as such a blessing, you've still lost 4 others, and I just don't think that you can try to offset the heartaches with the joy. It's just separate. I'm so sorry you're going through this and I'm sorry people aren't always addressing you with compassion. What's weird to me is that you're mom went through so many miscarriages, too, but they haven't found anything out of the norm for you yet. Last I checked, it isn't normal for someone to go through that many losses. And I'm also a little confused why they are recommending you take an HSG. I'm not a doctor, but I thought that was checking for blockage, which doesn't align with issues you've expressed. I've been working with multiple fertility clinics now and I feel like the HSG is always the first on their checklist, whether or not it really applies to anything. The next on their list is usually is a hysteroscopy if they can't find anything abnormal in the HSG. When I went in for my hysteroscopy, I requested that my doctor take an endometrial biopsy for a Receptiva test (he didn't mention this, but I asked about it and it ended up being the test with the answers I needed). The Receptiva test is testing for Endometritis (chronic infection which could cause a pregnancy loss if your uterus has infection and is a hostile environment for a baby to grow) and it's testing for indicators of endometriosis. Endometriosis can run in families and can also lead to pregnancy loss and trouble conceiving. Maybe ask your doctor about that if you're interested and feel like it may align with your experience...? Again, I'm not a doctor, so internet people, please don't come at me with shame and shade. I'm just sharing some info I've picked up over the past few years of infertility testing and that was my suggestion for you to ask your doctor about given what you've described. I really hope you find some more info for yourself and your family soon. It's soooo so hard. You are incredible and I hate that this is something that you're going through. You are such a good mama and I would hope for so many more babies to be raised by you to spread more goodness to this world.

You may have tried this, but often times the gel progesterone isn't strong enough if you have low progesterone. My mom had to take compounded progesterone, and that's when she stopped having miscarriages. I also had lower levels of progesterone in the beginning of my pregnancy. Are you possibly O- blood type? If so maybe you're sensitized? Don't give up, enjoy each moment, enjoy your precious boys, and I pray that you guys get to experience another healthy pregnancy soon and figure out what the imbalances are. God is good and He's got you.

My husband and I had one miscarriage and it was enough to never want to try again.

I'm so sorry about your pregnancy losses, but wanted to share my experience as one who had two miscarriages, decades ago, and also as a mother of 3 daughters. My eldest daughter, in her late 30s, had no problem getting pregnant, but has an Atopic pregnancy followed by a blighted ovum. Sometimes you have to listen to your body. It knows when something isn't right with an embryo, and most times will result in a miscarriage. They test a mans sperm, but when it comes to a woman's eggs, unless there is genetic testing on the embryo, it's hard to tell. The advantage of IVF is that once they have fertilized eggs, you can opt to have them sent off for genetic testing, and only the embryos that are healthy are then offered to be implanted. My daughter had two egg retrieval's. The first time, they got 21 eggs..out of those 21, they were able to fertilize 16. Out of those 16 fertilized eggs, after genetic testing, only 3 were healthy, without genetic issues. She opted for a second retrieval...out of 12 fertilized eggs, after going for genetic testing....none were healthy. Thankfully, she became pregnant with her first transfer, and is now 16 weeks pregnant. Yes, she was on hormone injections and patches before her transfer and for the first 6 weeks of her pregnancy, and is now taking a baby aspirin daily. She sees a regular OB as well as a high risk OB. My middle daughter has several friends, also in their mid 30's, who have had to have IVF, not because they couldn't get pregnant, but because of the miscarriages they had. They all now have their rainbow babies. At some point, you come to realize that if science can help, by starting you out with a healthy embryo by IVF or in Joshes case, a sperm study to choose the most viable sperm for IUI....don't rule it out. It was mind-blowing to know that with all the fertilized embryos my daughter had, only 3 would be healthy, after genetic testing. We now new that if she had continued to get pregnant naturally, the chances of future miscarriages were high. Taking advantage of the wonderful technology they have today, if you are able, to grow a family...by starting off with a healthy embryo...will only increase your chances of having a healthy baby. I know, even with IVF or IUI there are no guarantees, but the odds will be more in your favor. *****Again, I'm so sorry for all you and your family have been through....I'll continue to follow your beautiful family and future journey.

I did not produce enough progesterone to support a pregnancy. I had to use progesterone suppositories to support a pregnancy. I also had injections after a tubal pregnancy. I had to have the tube removed but I was also pg in my uterus. Prayers for a healthy pregnancy, soon!!!!!

There are a liot of autoimmune diseases that also raise your risk a lot for miscarriage (Lupus etc) so perhaps checking your inflammatory markers, thyroid etc would be worth it? I lost two babies at 20 weeks due to my body rejecting the pregnancies. The babies were genetically healthy, it was my body that was killing them. I never was able to have more children, and am incredibly grateful for my two boys I did manage to carry to term when I was a little younger and before my disease progressed. Just one more thing to check on. Good luck!!

So sorry for your lost. Have you checked with specialist if this isn't endometriosis? It's like 80% fault for all infertility problems.

I would strongly recommend the book “it starts with the egg” I really believe it helped me get healthy pregnancies.

I am on 200 mg, I take two every evening from peak +3 to peak +12 during my trying to conceive cycles. A lot of times, waiting to take progesterone until you get the positive, unfortunately it’s too late, your levels are not high enough. My doctor has me take it before I even find out I’m pregnant to make sure that my levels are high enough. Another thing is that the amount of progesterone doctors prescribe us is not enough, that is why I have to take two 200 mg and that still doesn’t get my levels that high.

You should do genetic testing there are certain genes that woman carry which cause blood clotting. It’s a different clotting factor to normal blood tests which don’t come up. Also you should be on higher progesterone for recurrent miscarriages. The genetic testing you should test for are - FII, FV, FXIII, MTHFR A&C, PAI You should also check your TSH

Something very telling to the puzzle is if you had genetic testing on any of your losses? Because if you knew if the losses were genetically normal or not it would help solve it. For me I had blood test on my arm that determined that my missed miscarriage was genetically normal and so that determined that I had to investigate the 20% other causes of losses. (Since 80% losses were chromosomal abnormalities) Aometimes we have to do the homework for the doctors and then come to them w the info for thier further expertise. I had a blood test that tested my blood for natural killer cells and it was high. It was the cause of my losses it attacked pregnancies . So doc had me do IVIG infusions monthly after pregnancy started to prevent my body from attacking. It seems to be what helped me I’m 18 weeks pregnant now. But this was after heavy investigating and 2.5 years of stuff including the loss of an ovary

You guys should look into acupuncture for fertility. I've seen it do wonders for women who really want to produce babies. Maybe you guys could give it a shot.

Take as much time as you need. Every pregnancy counts as a baby. Loss is never easy, but know that they are happy and healthy in Heaven!😇
