I love the old Miss Dior. It's a masterpiece. The bottle is amazing too. Dior in general is my favorite perfume brand (along with Guerlain). I'm also discovering that I may not like plain vanilla, and I don't know how I feel about this because I really like it on other people!

I enjoyed watching this video. I tend to classify my perfumes more by seasons and type than function. (Spring/Summer, Fall/Winter- Floral, Oriental, Leather. Incense, Chypre, Animalic) One of my favorite patchouli scents is Dior Gris. A beautiful rose/patch and also Enchanted Forest by The Vagabond Prince, black current, patch, woody and green. I just culled eleven bottles from my collection. I like most of them but don't reach for them very often so I will hopefully find a better home for them. My favorite fragrance at the moment is an elegant Iris/leather scent by Parfum d'Empire called Cuir Ottoman but I really have lots of favorites in each category. 😊

My Top 5: 1. Ellie Saab Girl of Now - I love everything about it. The smell the longevity. It's sweet yet deep and sensual and the sillage is just amazing. If you wanna smell like a snack, grab this. 2. Dior Hypnotic Poison - Who doesn't love Hypnotic Poison??? It's just as the name says --- hypnotic. 3. 360° Perry Ellis - As a child I used to smell my mom wear this perfume. It was her signature, and everyone else seemed off about it except me. I loved it so much and started using it too when I was in high school sneaking sprays from my mom's bottle. It's polarizing, yet if you get the hang of it I promise it's worth it. 4. YSL Black Opium - This is a versatile fragrance I'd say. It is very sweet yes, but it isn't cloying or overly sweet that it can pass as a daytime perfume. I wear mine both on daytime at school or at night outs with friends. 5. Bvlgari Omnia Amethyste - This might be an honorable mention so to say, but it was the perfume I first bought and used as my own signature. Even though I've strayed from using it as much, it will always have a spot in my heart 💖

I can only answer top 3 for now 😂😂🤣🤣. Is it just me but collecting perfumes is making me desensitized from actually enjoying perfumes. Like when I used to have only my top favorites before, I was so excited. Now it’s so many to choose from is not that same feeling for me, that is why after I finish all these perfumes I have, I’m only going to keep what I love. I don’t want to be a perfume hoarder always looking for the next thing. I will forever purchase J’adore, Gucci Guilty , and Chance Eau Tendre! Period lol.

Those are some quite lovely picks you have there 😉 I, like you, am also a "Chanel" patchouli girl as opposed to a "Mugler" patchouli girl 😂 I believe you have the 2012 Miss Dior because I have the same one, and it’s so much better than the 2017 version! The latter is pink compared to the more brown/yellow colour of the 2012 version. To me, it’s a watered-down version of the 2012 perfume 😔 You’ll see what I mean if you check it out on Fragrantica. I also think I need to revisit Chanel Chance EDP (I used to wear it many years ago)! Alian from mugler and Alian from Thierry mugler are not the same. I don't smell the same with my new purchase as I used to smell my first one I had 5 years ago. I got mine from Macy's. It's very soapy and I am very disappointed!
