Took the 72v Razor SX500 on a test ride after rebuilding the rear shock. Met up with my bro for a quick trail ride before getting stranded miles from home.

i have a electro and co 5000w kit rsf650 on 48v and i plan to go to 72v and it will feel like a whole new monster compared to the fact that the only other ebike i have had before the rsf650 is a mx350. also i got the bike used with the kit and battery so i haven't experienced it stock

Try mount a chain roller/chain tensioner if your chain continues to keep coming off sick bike good video bro
@CringeMotoАй бұрын
Thank you! Yeah i got rid of the tensioner to make the bike quieter, but now there's this issue... Gonna try to get my hands on one of the factory plastic chain guards that go around the sprocket, hopefully that'll keep the chain in place

Hey you said your set up but what was your brothers considering it was a considerably cheaper build to go with?
@elromanicobabyАй бұрын
Thats it i was on a off road trail and my whole front tire got submerged in a sink hole i didnt know was that deep and got stuck in mud and i had to pull it out then my tensioner bent and the chain kept popping and i slipped trying to pull my bike out

@@CringeMoto Yeah it has saved us a few times sad to say lol .. The Ride of shame back going past the people you went by before is the hard part 😆
@JonnyDuzzitАй бұрын
60v is absolute LOWEST you should run a 72v batt, any lower ans you risk damaging the cells. Im pretty sure it's safety cutoff for programmed into the bms to cut off at 3v per cell. 72v is 50%, you said you started the ride at 69v, which was about 40% lol
@LexadventuresАй бұрын
Your absolutely right ! Never go below 60v on a 72v battery ,, but if the Bms is bypassed the cut off is no longer active . the pack will just drain unless the cells damage

Do you like the 72v Razor or you prefer the Tt1600r ?
@CringeMotoАй бұрын
If you like working on bikes, the razor has a huge modding community behind it, so you can really make the bike whatever you want. Meanwhile the burromax is almost perfect out of the box (it would be THE perfect bike with 72v power). That said, made some poor choices with how I built my razor (don’t trust the Facebook groups). Just remember: The lighter the bike, the more fun it is to ride

What mods did your brother have on his pit bike and what kind of bike is it?
@CringeMotoАй бұрын
mx500 with shrimp depot 60v battery, fardriver 72300 controller, Kurt minto front fork lift kit, and crf50 plastics
@ElitekilАй бұрын
so is the razor mx650 one of the better razor bikes to get?
@CringeMotoАй бұрын
They’re all about the same. The mx500 and mx650 have the exact same frame. SX500 frame is slightly different and comes with 10” wheels front and rear, instead of the 12” front wheel.

so are the cops allowing these to be ridden in your area? they sure wouldnt tolerate them here and i live in a shit hole town lol 3 hours from boston ma.
@CringeMotoАй бұрын
Big city police don’t seem to care. As long as you obey traffic rules and are courteous to pedestrians you’ll be fine. Although that’s another reason to go with more of a “sleeper” build. Keep it looking like a kids toy

Hey what brakes do you have?
@CringeMotoАй бұрын
51mm "DJ-Motor" twin piston pitbike brake from Amazon on the rear. Front brake is a 43mm pitbike brake from "Goofit" also on Amazon.

Why not just buy a surron? 🤷🏻♂️
@CringeMotoАй бұрын
$5,000 vs $1,200. And you can’t fit a Surron in the back of your car
