She actually spent a lot of years in the US and Australia, that’s why she’s able to speak so well. She never went to school to learn though, she just learned it through her environment 😊 Maria’s family is lovely and they have accepted me with open arms. I actually, did try to roll the dough when we were preparing the pitaroudes but the camera was not recording 😅 Omg the olives from this region of Greece are so good! But I can definitely see how they are an acquired taste. I didn’t eat them either as a kid. They grow Kalamata olives at Maria’s village as well. Maybe next season we’ll do an olive picking video 😁

It never progresses because it has had morons running the show there who can’t even do basic maintenance on the various archaeological sites there, replace road signs that are full of rust & must be over 40 years old. The road network although much improved is still in need of major upgrades.
