Hey I have a question about graphic design major in K-Arts. What kind of subjects do you have? From what i heard art majors in Korea tend to focus a lot on theory and not so much on practise, which I think is not so good for design. So I was wondering, what subjects do you have at your major and is it mostly workshops studio-based or theory-based?

Thank you Sadia for sharing this helpful information. You take a design major in K-ARTS, so your department is Visual Arts, right? I want to get a Design major too, especially in Interaction design. Am I have to put a lot of portfolio in other majors like graphic design, drawing, photography, etc like you did or just focus on Interaction design itself? Thank you :)

They don’t accept printed material, you need to insert all artwork photos in a Dvd

My questions are: Should I explain in my portfolio the meanig of each design I make or I just need to print it in then they'll understand? Second, are there kinds of topics or areas in wich I have to make those designs or I am free to choose it? Last, how many pages and samples should I provide? Thank you in advance friend!

Hi Sadia... Thankyou so much for uploading your portfolio... I do wall paintings and acrylic canvas paintings. I am a self learner and didn't have any bachelors or degree background from it. Currently i am software engineer and interested in doing masters from visual communication design. I was clueless about portfolio part. Thankyou so much for uploading it. i got some ideas now. Salaam, I want to apply for AMA scholarship for masters. So, I wanted to know is topik or IELTS necessary for this scholarship? And how can I arrange my portfolio my major was (miniature painting) and where to submit? Like in video form, or just simple pictures of my art work.

it helps a lot! thank you! i want to ask something, in the description of each major, it said that there's qualification(?) that we should have, for example we need to have TOPIK level 3, so i kinda confused, so we need to submit topik certificate when we're applying or not? or it's the level that we need to achieve when we start the 3 months training? (if we accepted). i'm sorry my english is so messy, i hope you can understand what i mean:')))

Just skip that part if you dont have any certifications, but it would be better to study korean before coming to korea

Can you please tell me if a candidate not related to field that he is applying for. For example if he is applying for Visual Art (Photography) and his Background is from IT (Computer related), but he has good portfolio of Visual Arts and he done many projects on it. So is there chance to approve his application? Or they dont consider that? Can you please explain?

And this is the portfolio you submitted for School of Visual Art or School of Multimedia? Because I am reparing for this scholarshop. If I am already graduated with different major. Can i still apply for bachelor's degree again? And if Yes do i have to mention my graduation information and grades in the application form. Or it will be based only on my high school grades.
