Hey Everyone! This video is "out of the norm" for me. I wanted to share a personal experience of mine with pet adoption. I hope my story might encourage some of you who are on the fence to add a pet to your family. I hope the experience is as rewarding as it has been for me! Thank you for sharing your adoption story with us! You have such a loving and caring heart, which shown not only in your story, but in your emotions towards the animals that are euthanized. It always make me so incredibly angry and sad that it happens that way, and that's why I adopted my cat from an animal shelter.

Omg of course you made me cry. I wish I could save all the dogs at my shelter. I had to stop volunteering for awhile because I couldn't take looking at them anymore. I would leave crying because I couldn't save them.

+vangogh422 Yes I'm the same way! I just can't stand thinking about all those innocent animals being put to sleep because their time has expired. Whenever I visit a shelter I leave heart broken because I want rescue all of them and give them a home they all so deserve.

+Mardhiah Omar Oh I am so sorry about those kittens. I don't know why your neighbor would take them all away from you and your sister especially since it sounds like you both cared for them so much.

StayingCreative we didn't know neither.. my little sister cried hard when she found out about this thing, and she's only a 9 y/o girl :'(

2 of my best dogs came from shelters! There are a lot of animals who run out of time and get put to sleep. Great video

+Petrelli Reviews Aww I like how you wrote 2 of your best dogs came from shelters. I wish more people would consider adopting from shelters because these animals really do deserve to live, have families, forever homes and of course to be loved.

Back in the day I was a professional dog trainer and AKC handler for pure bred show dogs. Then I volunteered at a shelter & got my eyes opened to the realization that there were so many great animals in the shelter. It opened my heart to some amazing animals over the years who had no one else to take them. I got paid back in years of love from these amazing animals.
