FIFA 17 made playing with players 30+ years so fun. Training mode made career mode interesting to play with players over 30. Even when playing with teams like Man Utd, Real Madrid & PSG etc, I didn't even have to buy/loan a single player because of how stacked the squad was (1st squad, 2nd Squad & super subs) 🔥💯

I played fifa 15 and 16 at my friends house since I still didn’t have a console. I got a console in 2017 and got Fifa 17. That was the most fun I ever had with games, also got COD lll, but fifa 17 shined brighter for me, so I played fifa 15,16,17,18,19,22,23.

Not gonna lie FIFA 11 coming out on the next gens at the time really hit home and was like a little taste of FIFA's golden generation that came about 5 years after

FIFA 16/17 were just too good.. and not only FUT, the career modes were so good as well. I’ll never forget winning the UCL with Leverkusen, scoring in the last minute with a 17yo academy player that I had to sub on because Chicharito got injured.

15 and all the versions before is masterclass where it was fun, not as it is now and it was in 17 all holding the ball and sweat, in 15 and versions before you could actually press, versions after are trash gameplay wise but good content wise

23 is good nostalgia says otherwise

Honestly I stared off around fifa 10 with my cousin but really got into the game around fifa 14-15. And to me my top 3 in fifa are 15,17, and 20 were my favorites. Only reason 20 is in my top 3 is because it reunited me with my cousin and we started to play fifa once again.

I think FIFA 10 - FIFA 12 were great, wasn't trying to be too realistic and was just fun to play. Whichever FIFA that first introduced SBCs, was the biggest game changer in Ultimate Team, allowed players that weren't usable in the game to still be useful off the market and sellable

Fifa 12 and 13 are the goats. Silver teams were sick and you can have silver players as some of the most expensive players in the game like IF Maikon Leite, inform players were actually sick to pack and they weren’t instant discards. Yeah rivals and champs is sick and makes it easy to get a good team but it’s diluted fifa down to everyone virtually having the same team or players

Futchamps as implemented in 17 was fun, specifically bc of the rewards and the fact that the old divisions grind was still there. But ultimately it’s helped ruin the franchise, and we shoulda seen the writing on the wall.
