I upgraded my grandfather of a laptop that is the Acer Nitro 5 to a heavier, faster, more expensive Legion 5i which has a 2k screen. And because of that I sold my monitor and just started traveling around because why not, I can bring my work with me anyways.
Oh and sorry about the dust and hairs everywhere, we recently adopted 2 stray cats so blame the mess on them.

love the fact that he has everything he needs whenever and even if he did come back home, I find it way better to just be more mobile than being stuck in your room and being able to go outside and doing everything that you want. looks very refreshing honestly

One of my favorite things about this is how clean and portable it is. I often find myself going through phases of minimizing and minimizing until I can get as small a footprint I can without compromise and this is honestly quite satisfying, I like the idea of having an empty clear desk or space and then when I need to be productive I can be without as little effort as possible, I am just a slow moving person but when the productivity bug hits I like to take advantage of it and not be slowed down. I really enjoyed this :D

I was randomly recommended this video but it's pretty relevant for me. I'm a traveller myself and you and I have a very similar setup. I use my 2022 Legion 5i with the 3060 140w/16GB DDR5/i7 12700H and I have an S22+ as well. Whenever I go abroad I just take my beastly laptop along with the stand, mouse, studio headphones and soundcard. My trusty phone is also always with me. I travel lite with a single backpack, and it's a pretty comfy feeling being able to take all you need in a backpack with you. ✌️

love this video man, keep it up!! If you're looking for an upgrade for your camera I suggest the Sony 6000 series like the A6400 or A6600 and an old A6500 if you're on a budget. You can look at the new Sony ZV-E1 that got revealed this week. These are small compact mirrorless cameras that offer a lot for how small it is, I use an A6400 myself and it is a workhorse for my work. I hope this can't wait for a future update setup!

I'd highly highly highly recommend you stop that keyboard position right now. No matter how much you kid yourself thinking that that is a natural and comfortable position for your wrists. If you really need the "I'm free to move wherever I want" hype, find some space on your backpack or utility belt for a portable keyboard.

Awesome! I'm still using a 2020 Legion 5 gen 5 AMD (Ryzen 7 4800H). I use mine as a Linux workstation, and when I turn off the dedicated GPU, I get around 8 hours of battery life. It's plenty fast for what I do, and is still a pleasure to use. It's quite strong (I've lost count of the number of times I've dropped it), the screen is great, and I can type a hundred miles an hour on Legion keyboard. I'm hoping I get another 3 or so good years out of this machine.

Don’t know if someone has said this but the reason why the Viper Ultimate dock isn’t charging anymore is because you have some dust and dirt under the mouse. Do some gentle cleaning on under the mouse and the dock with Q-tips and they should work as before.

Two other things that can help: Gaming keypad, a half keyboard that has all the keys you need in game (A4 tech has a 15€ one that I've been using for a decade.) Suction cooling fan, for laptops that heat up a lot. Opolar has one of the best around, and you can get 15 to 20C cooler.

This is the point I have reach today. I was all about maximizing screen real estate only to realize that I wasn't using it effectively and in fact never helped my productivity. So I have it sitting in my closet. As far as what you carry in your bag I have the same with one nuance, a keyboard hehe. I recomend you a LOT not to use that kind of stands, trust me, it'll hurt your wrists, instead look for an ergonomic option, and too for the mouse, great video bro

Hey bro, your video appeared in my recommendations. I'm thinking about buying a new laptop for personal use and gaming. This looks like a nice choice. I like the whole assemble of the video, but how about some 4k too? With HDR maybe. Yet it was a great video. 👍 💻👨‍💻

I love your channel and the way you make videos. Ive got the Legion 5 as well! However mine has the Ryzen 7 5000 and not the Core i7. Still, beastly laptop. Love it.

I have the same laptop and stand and if you do productive work using onboard keyboard then it is not comfortable at all. External keyboard is a must if you work for long hours.

hey Omar, yeah I sometimes play without the charger. It can last up to an hour when I play triple a games but the performance suffers a lot. But its still playable lol

i have the same mouse and i fixed the charging stand by using a knife and just rubbing the contacts on the stand and on the mouse, works and charges fine now :)

Awesome video! Im using the same legion 5 for my work. Im curious about that wrist rest from delta hub? Ive been thinking of getting one because of my ongoing wrist pains but due to its price, i had to really be sure. Does it really work? Does it help ease the wrist pain?
