Hi everyone! I am super excited to finally be posting this video. I've been planning this video for a while now and I've worked really hard on it, so hopefully you guys appreciate it! Anxiety is something I struggle with daily, and hopefully me opening up about my experience is helpful to someone!

I used to watch your videos on anorexia about 4 years ago and decided to look you up again. My jaw dropped as soon as you mentioned the disassociative episodes, because I experienced my first one in May of 2017. I've been struggling to "recover" from it since then. Like you, I felt like I was dying and it took me months and months to even feel like I was in control of my body. I still have feelings of being disconnected, but not nearly as bad as it was. Sometimes I wonder if I'll always feel the effects of that depersonalization/disassociation episode, but I'm hoping one day I can forget it altogether. Anyway, thank you SO MUCH for sharing your experiences. I've always loved your ED videos and this made me relate even more to you. Being able to feel less alone is a huge help when you're going through this stuff. ❤️❤️❤️

Have left many comments before as I always thought that your channel was fantastic and learnt so much from it. After a year of no new content I presume now you have left videos up but chosen to stop making new ones, which of course i understand and is your free choice, but wanted to let you know that I so hope you are doing well- even better that you are further along in the journey, and wish you so much luck for continued happiness and success

Congrats on the partnership! And thanks for sharing your story - panic disorder sounds awful and I'm so glad I can't relate to that particular point.

I've been watching your videos for years, and have yet to comment, but I felt compelled to after watching this. I've dealt with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and eating disorders for almost 10 years. I am on medication and I also have a therapist, which help a lot, but in the past year or so I started meditating, which has been life changing for me. The type of meditation I usually practice is called 'natural noticing' - it's an opportunity for you to be in the present moment, to pause your thoughts, and to notice the environment around you. Ever since I was a kid, I wished that I could just turn off my thoughts. With meditation, it's actually sort of possible to take a break from them, and it's been helping me immensely with my anxiety, and has even stopped a panic attack in it's tracks. Just thought I'd share

How does it work with messaging a therapist? Do you have regular sessions with her or do you message her only when you have something particular you need help with or need to talk about? How is it to talk that way? Is it hard to express yourself in message format? I'm interested because I can't handle skyping either.

You message the therapist through the app! The frequency of interactions with your therapist really depends on their availabilities, but when I was using BetterHelp, I spoke to my therapist every day! I find it almost easier to express myself in message format just because I can really think before I say something. I feel like my answers are more well thought out if that makes any sense, I hope this helps!
