My Army (Persian Version)

Soviet song "Армия моя" or "My Army" sung in Farsi/Persian. The original video seems to have been taken down, but I managed to save the audio. In the video that this recording comes from there was what appears to have been an Iranian military choir performing. I can't recall the name of the choir or the date of the performance, though I do believe that the old lion and sun emblem was on display. Perhaps it took place before the 1979 revolution or was sung by an Iranian diaspora group? Picture is of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

@Comrade Clyde The Islamic Republic of Iran is not right-wing, the public sector is dominant over private enterprise to serve social policies and their conservative attitudes are overblown, e.g. the amount of women in politics and army or legal sexual reassignment surgery. Pan-Islamism encourages anti-colonial sentiments across the region in Lebanon and Yemen and beyond in Nigeria, enters alliances with Baathist (the Syrian Arab Republic) and Marxist forces (PFLP in Palestine) and though their Persian expansionist moves and cooperation with US imperialism not always lead them to be on the right side of history, they are progressive force countering the primary contradiction which is the international dictatorship of the United States.

@@commie12akk44 The public sector in Iran is not for social purposes but to the benefit of the Sepah who own the businesses and use them as a parallel income source separate from government funding. The "sex reassignment surgery" is mandatory for homosexuals because their existence fucks up the extremely feeble gender roles conceived by the priests and ironically transgenders are used to reinforce the "Women should stick to the kitchen" mentality. If you think Iran as a muscle against the US accidentally serves good purposes that's fine, that's my take, but if you unironically think there's anything domestically redeemable in a backwards, corrupt fundamentalist theocracy that routinely persecutes communists, then you really want to reassess what you are and change that stupid fucking nickname. Have the decency to be cynical about it, at least.

This is one of the songs of the MEK, the largest militant opposition group against the current Iranian government (who officially consider them a terrorist organization). So the image of the Revolutionary Guard in the video is actually not appropriate for the song

Am agree with Jakovac. Title of this song is "Madar e Toofan", sung by MEK(Considered as terrorist organisation in IRI). Don't know about background of this particular song, anyway IRGC pic is wrong.
