Tips from a gymrat if you are not seeing any signs of muscle gain: 1. Not enough protein. Convert your protein intake into g to lbs e.g. I weigh 180lbs, I need to eat 180 g of protein. 2. Adequate sleep is very important. Try to sleep around 7 to 8 hours per night. 3. Calorie Intake is also very important. Make sure you are measuring calories and have a set diet plan of what you’re gonna eat for a long time. 4. Lower the reps and sets. there’s a huge misconception of thinking more is better for example 4x10-12 or 3x10-12 is good for muscle growth. This is terrible set and rep range. we can also do much better than that. Lower of the reps and sets at least 2 to 3 set maximum with a rep range between 4 to 10. My personal favorite is a rep range is 4-6, 5-7, 6-8. 5. Go heavy! try to leave 1-2 reps and reserve on your first couple sets to minimize fatigue and maximize muscle stimulus and on your very last set, go to failure within the rep range that I gave 6.Try to hit the gym at minimum four times a week. More than five is terrible for recovery
