I just want to say thank you for showing Max in his helmet. When I had my son, he developed torticollis as well. And unfortunately, I took it personally like it was something I/we did wrong. And it is embarrassing looking back, but I felt like I was going to be embarrassed taking him out in public with a helmet on his head. Luckily, those feelings were washed away seeing him in his cute helmet. It is amazing to see you use your platform, maybe unintentionally, to show that this is normal and 100% ok! It happens more often then people think, and it is purely cosmetic. So thank you!

@@mohammadalvi6528 it is to round out your head and make flat spots less noticeable. So it will stop your head from growing in certain spots while allowing it to grow where it is flat. Kids have to wear them usually 2-6 months

Yea, ever since my son had one, I see them quite often now! I'm sure I saw them before but had no idea what I was looking at, kinda like when you buy a new car and you start seeing tons of the exact same car. But yea, they are just the cutest thing on the planet. For Halloween, we made a Captain America shield and put an "A" on his blue helmet. It was awesome!

It's sad that she had to defend her giving Max formula. I get it. Breast feeding is hard. Some babies don't latch, it hurts, sometimes you don't make enough milk. I breast fed my older two but wasn't able to with my daughter and I always had so much guilt. She is just as healthy as my other kids, if not more (they have allergies. She doesn't) Don't give then hate in their parenting. They're doing a damn good job lol Also, he's so cute!

and some babies can't tollerate your breast milk but can tollerate others. My mother tried donated breast milk and I was able to take it, but I couldn't tollerate hers. And once I couldn't tollerate the donated kind I used formula. I also ONLY EVER fed my niece and nephew formula.

Hi You have you never breast fed? Shits hard. Some babies really don’t latch because of a lot of different reason. My son didn’t latch for a little bit and it was very hard. Also having your nipple sucked on and pulled on for 30+ minutes sometimes about 9-10 or more times a day hurts after awhile

Problem is babies brains develop much better with breast milk. I read study where it said the babies brains will be 30% more larger from breastfeeding

I agree. I wasn't able to breast feed because my milk ducts kept getting plugged which made my milk dry up fast so I had no choice but to feed my son formula.

Moses jalil sometimes babies get a flat spot on their head and helmets help round it out. Paige mentioned he has torticollis which can make it hard for babies to turn their heads which can also cause flat spots.

@@amandagreens7336 possible. But go to school and work as a pediatric nurse, I think they were referring to his helmet on that. In just rewatched it over and shes feeding him based on his weight & height percentiles. Her sister even said "maybe he's too young" Here's an example of why I think he's too young to eat as well: they had to hold his neck in order for him to eat. When he's ready, he'll be sitting up on his own and be able to turn his head to left and to the right without falling over. Yes, the doctor could've told them it was okay to start solids. But not every doctor or pediatrician is fully aware or educated on the topic. So it's important to always get more than one person's input on somethings..
