I like this video because bank fisherman don't have time to stop and tell you what they are using. In addition, it seems that there aren't as many bank fisherman as boat guys on KZfaq. I have 2 boats and I love bank fishing the best. It's usually quicker, you can be more mobile, you can get some exercise and if it's not a great bite, you can quit and do something else. Thank you for taking the time to make the video!

That's true, I don't see as many bank fishing videos because everything is mainly boats or kayaks. It's fun walking the banks and discovering everything around the area plus as a photographer, I get to shoot great stills and drone footage. Thanks for checking out the video and keep those lines tight.....

New subscriber located in the eastern part of Mid-Tennessee mainly wade but do kayak here and there but my main thing is wading my gear is a Lews tackle bag 4 plano boxes, front zipper area is my soft plastics at the top of the bag is another zipper area that's my terminal tackle area not to mention the bag has 2 areas that can hold your r&r setups my swimbaits with clam shells go in where my plano boxes are even after all that I still can fit my sunscreen and usually one drink. My go-to rods are my Abu Garcia and my Shimano, both rods are 7' 3". Nice setup now I need to go back and watch your back catalog. 👍🏻

Hey man I just found your channel. I'm a bank fisherman myself at least until next Spring when I get a boat lol. I like your gear; I too have fished with the excursion and the only complaint I had was that the rod was a bit on the heavier side and as a bank fisherman I think it's important to have lighter gear. But other than that, it's a good rod. I also carry lots of tackle as well because you just never know what situations you will run into whether you're fishing a river from the bank, a lake, creek, or pond. Good stuff man, keep it up!

Excellent video. What line weight do you use and do you use leaders or do you just repeatedly cut your line to make changes?

Hey, most of the time I use 8, 10 or maybe 12lb fluro. Depending on the conditions and what I'm fishing with, braid for that cover and low water levels in this area. Never used a leader and would just retie when frayed. Thanks for watching and keep those lines tight!!! :)
