I hadn’t felt the Holy Spirit’s presence for two years, I was empty and depressed without Him and one morning I sang a love song to Him and He responded to me. I was filled with His power and love and felt whole inside for the first time in years. I was flowing in new tongues again (which I hadn’t done in years even though I had tried for hours) and I was overwhelmed with gratitude in my heart. That was my mountain top experience that lasted about 90 days. I was filled with supernatural joy. I’m in another spiritual valley right now but I’m waiting expectantly for Him to restore me. What I’ve learnt is that life has many ups and downs but the Holy Spirit is faithful and we must wait on Him. He has a will and comes when He wants to. ❤

David, this was perfect, about 5 years ago I was Baptised in the Holy Spirit and with the Fire of the Holy Spirit and around 2 years ago I felt a distancing or what felt a lot like falling... being out of the presence of if you will... I know as a believer that the Holy Spirit will never leave me or forsake me but it was just as you said and I too have been trying everything to get back in the communion with the Holy Spirit as it was... Thank you for helping me understand through your story and triump in returning back to the simplicity of faith through our knowledge and relationship knowing that HE who is faithful will always answer and lead us in perfect peace without any confussion...

Wow David; that's exactly what happened to me; walked in the spiritual mountains, then... that feeling of abandonment by God... I remember that He promised to restore... I'd love an atmosphere to seek Him with determination; there has been much intrusiveness going on around and about me lately; a warfare, actually... When I experience the Holy Spirit my heart is filled with supernatural joy and the feeling that all is well. All of my problems seem to not matter and the presence of the Holy Spirit is all that matters. I too feel whole, complete, blessed, and grateful! ❤❤❤

It's funny because as a kid and teen, I'd have a small poet whisper to me. A small poet with a sort of whimsical grace tell me things like "Don't give up." "Not now." ""Onwards." "Believe in yourself for he believes in you." I mourned that poet who whispered in my ear during times of confusion. IT felt like 15 years of standing still. Like i was never moving forward. It was very much so, going through the motions of what you shared with us Diga. Thank you for sharing your testimony. Because the moments I've had with christ can be counted less than 10 times by my digits. But the holy spirit, has always sprung up like an echo, a little light, leading and leading. Or just being with me when I know the father to be far. Who am I, to claim such attention? To be worthy. The father and his beings are fighting for all... all the time... giving love and faith... and so I'd understand that I shouldn't be sad they felt so far away. However, the whisper of the poet would return to me. And it'd feel like he'd hold my hand and he would tell me, "The distance of them and you is never far, even if it doesn't feel like it. With me, they are instant. I'm am your tether. Your rope to them. I am with you no matter when and how." I didn't know who this poet was so I had attributed him to saint michael. Who has always reminded me to fight with my sword or to even hold onto it. To put up my shield and love it. To lift my gaze up off the ground. It was only till 32 did I realize that, this poet was not michael at all. When I asked him in a daydream where he felt present... I asked, "Are you the holy spirit? Have I called you wrong this whole time?" He didn't affirm nor deny. But a gentle smile told me what I needed to know. And who he was to me. A dear friend. I hope this testimony also helps someone out there. THe struggle will always persist for life is hard. As chosen ones, who are to bring love to friends, family, and strangers, for this worlds people are our brothers and sisters, we will always bear the brunt of the darkness. However, listen to the friend who is inside. Who is the constant. The holy spirit is in you. Always has been. Always will. Understand them. Listen through the silence. Be vigilant with who presents. Be careful of the sheepskined liar. The hold spirit will protect you. He is one of the few who will hold your hand through the demonic battles, reminding you that you are so strong, so blessed, and so loved. That you can lift your sword and fight on your own behalf through god's power.

Awesome David. As it is written, we must strive to enter His Rest that we might cease from our own works. He wants for everything that we are to flow from him, and not from ourselves. I had an experience one time where my brother and I were praying, just resting in him. We could feel a tangible presence of the holy spirit, almost as if the cloud of the glory of god entered through every crevice, seeping into the room so gently and quietly. We truly are to wait on him.

i remember when my brother prayed for me now me accepting God when i repeated the words..the feeling was beautyful and my mind was so utterly cleared that i know that no one will ever know until they accept Jesus Christ! i havent been baptism yet but im here barely learning the Bible and I am worried that i may be ignoring my holy spirits words.
