This is a video that I needed, injuries have got the better of me the past year. Had hamstring strains, tendinitis and now I’m going through osteitis pubis (pubic bone inflammation) for anyone that doesn’t know. These injuries have affected my chance of getting a masters at my college so I had to leave after graduation. I’m really hard on myself and getting down about all these stupid injuries. Great video, hope you’re back uploading consistently!

Yo I have Osteitis Pubis right now. Did you overcome the injury? And if so how did you?

@@jamalarif7046 my osteitis pubis was personal to me, my core was much stronger than my groin and hip flexor. So what I do was focus on strengthening my hip flexor and groin (adductor), I didn’t exercise my core (abdominals) as much and stopped playing football which is what caused it. I didn’t kick a ball for around 4-6 weeks, but I retested every now and then to see if it got better or where I was at on my recovery.

Can you expand on what you mean by GMs out there who are not valuing a multi-faceted player? I’m assuming you are referring to your abilities and areas of expertise off-the-field with regard to your KZfaq career. When I think of a GM’s responsibilities, why would they be looking for players with expertise off-the-field? I believe certain clubs may have a GM who takes on a variety of different roles and small clubs may like the idea of players who can do more, but at the clubs I assume you are trialing for/looking to secure a spot with, the budget is large enough to where they are not looking for a player to take on off-the-field responsibilities around the club. Always appreciate the work you put into your vids. All the best!

Honestly, I think he's really over valuing what his channel would actually do for a club. I mean you don't see a significant change with FC Tulsa's social media pages with Become Elite and 7mlc who combine for like 1.3 million subs. And here Spencer just has ~40k and picks up like 10k views a video. If I was a GM I'd much rather have a player whose better on the field than a lower tier KZfaqr.

Played for a few local clubs in Florida growing up (Sarasota FC, Chargers FC, IMG Academy) before playing for 3 schools (University of Memphis, Monmouth University, Lindsey Wilson College).

I think the college route is very overrated and overpriced, but if you're offered a good scholarship and the competition/playing time makes sense for your development then I would say it's worth looking into. In 2021 it's very easy to find a semipro club overseas to continue your career though.

A lot of teams will hold open tryouts, so you can email them/check their socials to see when that may be

When I played in the USL2 most clubs had a B team so it wasn't very hard to make a practice team if you had a decent playing history. With the amount of clubs around now in 2021 I'm sure you'll be able to confirm a few tryouts even without a video. A CV takes 15min to create 👍🏼

Way off 1st division atm haha But I'm at the age where I can't pack up and leave everything behind anymore. Rewind a few years when I only had a few things outside of football to focus on, any opportunity I was presented with made sense. I'll sign with a club soon👊🏻
