Frontlines has gotten really stale and boring. The same one map being 70% overrun by progettos, lt432's and wheelies...

Wheeled vehicles really need to be nerfed hard, they are totally ruining the fun of the game with their gocart like moves. Also turrets on many vehicles move way too quickly

These EBR's are so bad for the game... They need to nerf something about them. They're purely better then pretty much every light tank atm. Especially better then the other french light - better move speed, reload speed, aim speed, I would say also better gun (especially with these HE shells.. which is redicilous for a light tank.. even arties (HE class) dont have 105 HE pen. or even most TD's don't have this.. but nope.. also lets not forget the auto-aim .. this tank ALSO have better cammo level then the 13 90 /or tier 10/ ,not sure about the spotting range. P.S. No wonder why this is pretty much a tank that everyone plays and u can see in EVERY battle.

Man I got soooo anxious watching this at the end because it was so action packed so quickly.

I just started getting into WOT, and have watched many of your videos; very well done BTW. I play on the NA server, and I immediately noticed a huge difference in my game play compared to yours. Evidently, at least in the NA server, I haven't had a game yet (over 500 played) where massive cheating occurs. You can tell almost everyone, at least starting in Tier IV and up is using aimbots (and I'm sure other mods), as so many players are constantly tracking and shooting at targets located on the other side of a mountain. I asked about this in game chat and was told by many that "it's just the way it is, get used to it and find/buy my own cheats so I can be competitive.". I also noticed that every single hit I take is penetrating/damaging, not 1 single ricochet, and I've been working on armor angling and all that. Even with the constant gold ammo spam, if I'm hit twice from anywhere in the map even while "ducking and dodging" it's instant kill. Suspicious at least since I'm familiar with the game mechanics. I saw one of your videos made a while back (when I first started) where you discussed cheating, and it's something you said you rarely see. I find it hard to believe that it would be prevalent in American servers but not in European servers, so (anyone) is there something I'm missing or is this just the way it is? BTW in downloaded and installed a free aimbot just for proof of concept, and it worked. Just a few files placed in the res_mods directory . I removed it of course. Exactly what i feel, which is exactly why I dont grind for the "big prizes". I go frontlines for one thing: credits. If I get other shit along the way then yay for me but it is most definitely not priority. I'm no unicum or even a clan player and get regular Captain/Major ranks. Only got General a few times. This is perfectly fine for the credit goals I aim for to allow things I want/need between Frontline episodes.

19:20 Lorraine is up there with Jg E 100 and 4005. Didn't know it had 2nd biggest gun in game.

Starting with a VK100.01P or defender is also a good stratagy, as those vehicles are super strong and everything at the start is close quarters so speed is not really an issue

It's easier to rank up when you are attacking, but thanks for the video QB, I have a better idea of what I need to change for a defensive role.

It sucks when the best tanks to play this gamemode are premium tanks

When you reload in the repair zone, your ammo costs is 0. Also, to be honest, I would rather play at T6 or T7. T6 would make autoloaders and clown cars a memory and you'd have awesome options like the KV2.

Congrats on the fantastic game qb. It was fun to watch you dominate everyone but the one thing I got out of this video is that unless you spend real money on the game to get premium tanks or own every tank in the game you wont ever get to prestige all the way do to not getting general every game. Now I'm not the greatest player in the game but I'm also free to play and have tanks that are not the greatest in frontlines (ie. tiger 2, panther 2, Ferdinand, gw tiger p, is-3, t-44, isu-152). In before people reply saying if I were a better player then I could get general all the time, which is true but the fact that based off of what tanks were used or talked about in the video aka premiums or lynx, amx 50 100, emil 1 are just better because of the mobility they have or shells per clip in autoloaders. Basically what I'm getting at is that since I didn't choose the "correct" tanks to grind for frontlines I get punished because I'm a slow tank or don't have ways to secure kills after shooting someone and is twice as hard for me to prestige because my tanks are outclassed by people that can just spend money on the game... Again I acknowledge that if you are good then any tank can get you general but my point is that me and a bunch of other free to play players have a tougher time trying to prestige due to being in less superior tanks for example say its me and someone else on a flank in a panther2 and t-44 vs a progetto and lorr. 40t. Who wins that fight??? 90% of the time the progetto and lorr win because they can just unload their clips on one target and kill them super quick then it becomes a 2v1 and even if the lorr has to reload the panther2 nor t-44 wants to trade with a progetto. I understand that WG makes the rewards hard to get so it feels like a reward when you get them and to earn money from people that are lazy but for the people that are willing to spend time to get the rewards but are outclassed because of the tanks I have are not good enough for the game mode.

Can't wait for Frontline every month! I did get the Pantera for episode 5 but I just don't seem to be good at it, I prefer the T-44, and I have two of those. The IS-3 is what I enjoy doing high damage in, should have an arty and the ISU-152 for next episode. I love the mode but I need to learn how to rank up faster, I either rank up well at the start then slow down at the later stages or don't rank up at the beginning and go fast by the end. I only got general once.

Re: wheeled vehicles in Front Line - I've seen then crash into object, do a triple somersault in the air, land on their wheels and drive away. If EBRs have magic wheels that always land on the ground, so should my other light tanks.

Great battle QB! I love Frontline! But what frustrates me is tankers think it is all about winning. It is the rank that makes the game worth playing. That means causing damage, making it to General. General gets more rewards toward the prizes (earned tanks). You need to get/allow capping the bases to extend the time to enable more tankers to improve their rank. After you get General, have fun, but let others build their rank too, and not go to destroy the big guns. And, of course, the more damage, the better your ROI.

21:10 The green circle on the ground had nothing to do with the artillery barrage, it was there because you were using your inspire consumable. You can see the green circle when you're driving around normally too. I also had a very good game in episode 4, I did about 18,000 damage and had 6,000 assistance damage. I was able to get every single medal in that one game. I was the first general, I got general of the army, and I created a battlefield platoon and got small army. The thing is though, I don't play the mediums and lights too much. I play well armoured but reasonably mobile heavies. My first spawn is usually AMX M4 45 and depending on how the battle is playing out I'll usually play the Caernarvon AX, 50 TP Proto., or IS-3A. The odd time I'll play the Progetto 46 or EBR 75 if I think it'll be useful, but I mainly stick to heavies until all the capture points have been taken. Then I'll play more mobile mediums like the Progetto 46 or Lansen C so I can run between the turrets quickly to defend or attack them. Everyone else seems to stick to the mediums and lights but I prefer the heavy play style and I have it worked out pretty good I think. I reach major in 95% of my games, the only time I haven't gotten major is if one team completely sucks and the battle is over in 10 minutes or if I have internet issues and disconnect. In addition to reaching major in 95% of my games I reach general in 45% of my games. I have had a lot of games too where I was one or two shots away from general. Maybe I could be reaching general more if I played more mediums or lights, but I have the heavy play style down to a science and I enjoy it and do well with it so I'll keep playing that way. I just think it's interesting because you don't see too many people playing heavies as much as I do in FL. Also, how do FL player prefer to level up their FL consumables? I've been experimenting with different methods and can't decide which is better/which I prefer. I've done it where I max out my first consumable, then my second, then my third. I've also done it where I unlock all three right off the bat then max them out one by one. The other method I've done is unlock and level all three at the same time. I think the last two might be slightly better than the first one as at least you have all three of your consumables even if they aren't maxed out, but they both seem to work well for me and the first 15 levels that are needed to max all three go so quickly that maybe it doesn't even make that much of a difference. What are your preferences fellow FL players?

Last frontline week probably the worst week i have so far, i have to play this mode for 12 hours a day just to get that emil Because i missed two frontline episodes and started on prestige 3. Well... atleast i got a "free" premium tank, and yes, its possible to get 4 prestige in a week

Because of game crashes that happens in FL alot (sometimes I get like 5-10 in single battle) I was forced to play arty and its heavily dependent on teammates and you dont have so much impact on games. Sure, I was getting good ranks fairly often but almost none credits. This month I bought Progetto and when I swapping to it at the end of the game (risking crash in the middle of the fight) I grind ranks so easily that most of the time I have major/general. I must say its by far the best tank for this mode. I have Lorraine too but its aim time and overall gun handling feels so bad. Also I agree with what you said at the end - I too feel like this mode is forced and no longer fun when you have to grind like crazy. One thing about it is great - day after it ends I always love playing randoms to just rest from FL. :D

Great game QB, but I agree its getting tedious now and needs an injection to keep the interest up. New map is a must and switching tiers is also a great idea.

Defending is much easier for ranking up than attacking is. Getting up to 90 cap points but being hit and killed before the capture completes gets you less (read zero) points than being on defense and hitting an enemy to reset for 1 point.

Played frontline a lot the first week and for a couple of days the second month. Went back at month 5 and by two games realised why I had begun to hate it, no none tries to win.... never going back to it.

Seems to be that most of the generals are gained when the recipient has two tanks in his garage. EBR and Progetto. I personally think that the EBR should be banned or nerved in frontline, or even generally in game.

Quacky, i was at tankfest 2019 so i dont know much about whats going on. Did you go? There was a jpanther and it was driving around shooting fuel tanks and blanks. It was way less hot than the 36 degrees last year!

I wish the was more motivation to keep pushing AFTER you reach General because personally there is little reason to take chances and make hero plays once it has been reached as you don't gain anything. Perhaps some consumables for reaching General+ rank or something.

Now what we need is a tier X version of Frontline to freshen tier X mm a bit. (Yes I realize there are grand battles but those rarely happen and a tier X Frontline seems much more exciting)

I was using my tier 8 arty near the 1st few days of FL this month, But I realised I want to get to lvl 15 asap so to use my best tanks (4-6 skills).. then use arty and any other t8 tanks i usually neglect (1-3 skill crewed tanks) once I'm at lvl 15 cause then I can relax as I play FL and just use the tanks I want to grind xp or my crew in that aren't as good as my best 5-6 skilled tanks

Now if only morons would learn that it's not about winning in Frontline, it's about farming for general. Meaning: Attackers: shouldn't rush out and kill objectives Defenders: shouldn't prevent attackers from capping when they are almost out of time.

The new map can't be released soon enough as it will be a breathe of fresh air. Also I saw a suggestion on The WoT Facebook page that allowed for map segment randomization that would be an interesting twist as well.

I always enjoyed playing standard random battle WOT over Frontline. The main reason I played Frontline was to be able to play my tier 8 tanks more. Now that they have fixed MM, where your tier 8's don't get stuck as bottom tier in 3/5/7, there is no compelling reason for me to really play this game mode.

I think the Lorraine is on par with the 50 100. And for frontline you could run the 50 100 with the 90mm which has significantly lower reload

I really like frontline, but it definitely needs some changes to make it more fun. like maybe finding a way to incorporate other tiers, or more XP and creds as you dont really get your moneys worth
