My BIG TURBO Audi S3 Runs 10s At The Drag Strip EASILY! Car ran great and was at full weight with extra weight in the trunk With a bit more tweaking and a better setup I feel this car could easily go 10.7 at full weight and around 10.4-10.5 with some weight out. Cannot wait to get back out there!

For some of the comments mentioning it, the clutches are fine! There is something in the tcu called AMAX mode where the ecu purposely slips both clutches on LC to keep power to run the best times. Yes it causes some wear and tear on the clutches but I am not launching the car everyday. On the street on normal pulls and drives the clutches hold 100% and absolutely 0 slip.

Dam BRO! F---kin amazing, I can feel your excitement ! It was nice following you along on your journey over the past couple of years and to see the transformation of your S3 into the BEAST it is today. This really is a huge inspiration , my guess is you will run 10.4 by the end of the season with further mods. Is this as far as you will go with your S3? Possible built engine in the future sometime?

Thanks for the support man! And yes with some weight reduction and a better tire I’m thinking I can get around a 10.6-10.7. Now I can still turn up the car a bit which I might do just for the drag strip and hopefully MAYBE be around a 10.4 (I hope). Right now I’m not sure if I wanna build the engine on this car or not I’m kinda stuck whether I would build it or eventually sell as is or part it out and move to either a b58 car or what I’m dying for is a ttrs (my achievable dream car for now) which I would do a hybrid turbo on and get into the 9s

For full weight and a hybrid turbo that boogies,I’d just do weight reduction and don’t worry too much on wheels mainly tyre diameter like 26inch or 25 inch depending on what box you have 6/7 speed

Yes my plan for sure is to shed some weight. No tools or spare and back seats out. Thing is my tires are like 40-50 % tread rn they’re not doing too well lol I’m sure with better tires at least I can cut an easy 1.6 60ft

Awesome vid! However what’s the point of manual shifting? DSG is faster than human fingers and on a tuned car you should not even need to upshift as it does already at the optimal rpm, at least mine does! Curious to know if I’ve missed something…keep up the good work bro!

Thanks man, and tbh it sounds dumb I know but wanted to see if the car would perform at a 10 second pass in its “slowest” form. Being full weight on crappy tires and me shifting. Since it did do it, it gives me a HUGE potential for improvement going forward. If that makes sense

I shift it around 7100-7200 and redline is like 7350 if I’m not mistaken

Is it me or the first pass video sounds like the transmission is almost Slipping when upshifting? The last shift before the finish line sounds very lazy

No issues at all tbh even pulls in the way home it shifts crisp. I have asked however about a possible dsg tune with custom launch and tighter clamping force in case

Also, there is something called AMAX mode that activates in the TCU that purposely makes the clutches slip on launch control so it shifts faster for better times. It overlaps the clutches and causes slight slipping so it’s considered normal

No clutch slip on any of these passes thankfully. Did have a slight issue on launch a few months back but did a dsg service and reset and issue went away

I’m not too concerned with it I may just do a custom dsg tune with a bit more clamping force. It is much better and not as lazy though after the dsg flush and reset
