A flower knows video would be awesome! I love pretty compacts but have never splurged on one yet. A Salt NY video would be great too!! I could see them being a really useful brand.

The Queen Musia lips are all based on classic lit hero/ines, I think? (Also, I saw either a birthday candle or a nib for a glass dip pen, but I can see how a mind could go to a racy place. :D). Becky Sharp is from Vanity Fair, Madame Bouvary was a racy novel about a woman having an affair, and Dorian might be Dorian Gray, as in the Portrait Of. (Who knew English lit would come in handy thirty-some-odd years later? :D)

Last time I checked empty Mob Beauty palettes were on sale on QVC for a few dollars and Kackie said that the Salt pans fit in there perfectly.

I'm so happy to see salt new York getting out there! I've been using their products for years and love them. I only have the old stuff so i don't know if they changed any formulas, but if not i really like using the blush for a lip tint too! Also i have an 8 pan palette from the olden days, they did use to have a big palette so maybe they'll get big ones back!

The it Cosmetics items are interesting to me. I have dry skin as well. Their original CC cream works great on me if I add 1-2 drops of face oil (i.e. jojoba oil) per pump if I use a brush or sponge to apply. This was a Tati tip that I follow for almost every foundation and am thrilled with the results.

Thanks for sharing that tip. What does it do? Does it make it more sheer? I use both of those products so I will have to try this

@christinabrink144 you're welcome. It does thin it out, but that isn't why it works for me. I have dry skin. What it does for me is to make the foundation sink into my skin and look flawless. There are foundations that I didn't like how it sat on my face, but when I started adding oil, I actually love it now. It takes a bit of experimentation. Every foundation can be a bit different. For example, one foundation needs 1 drop of oil to 2 pumps of foundation, and another foundation needs 2 drops of oil per 1 pump of foundation. Note: I mix the oil and foundation on a clean surface and then apply with either a brush or a makeup sponge. 🦋👩‍🦰

I would love for you to try the matte foundation, I have dry skin too and typically avoid matte base products. Any mattifying I do is with a pore filling primer instead of a powder (I can never find one I like enough to use that doesn’t make my face look textured and dry) but sometimes I can get behind a matte foundation if it’s not going to be cakey af. Please do a part two of this video where you test some of these things ❤❤❤ also yeah my mind immediately went to “looks like a vibe” with those lipsticks but maybe we’re just dirty minded lmao. they’re also giving twisty candle. Cute colors though 😂 also I’d love to see the Salt NY products too! I’m so curious about them but haven’t tried the brand yet. But like someone else said, we’re gonna watch whatever videos you come up with ❤ it’s always a treat when you post anything!

Definitely interested in flower knoiws, but mostly because it's pretty to look at and of how you excited you are to try it. From what I’ve seen throughout the years It cosmetics has mixed reviews when it comes to their foundations and people with dry skin. Some poeple love all of them, some just the original and few don’t like any of them. I would love to know your thoughts. Salt New York slays as always. Amy does your skin ever breakout from sunscreen? I love IT cosmetics, but generally can’t use moisturizer with sunscreen in it. It seems I always have to have a layer between my skin and the product. I’m just curious what your skin generally does because I would love to try this based off of your review. I love all of your videos. You give so much information and are always a joy and Cupid is absolutely adorable ❤

Salt NY used to have a bigger palette, but for whatever reason they stopped making it right before the Pandemic (around that time frame). I had just started buying and selling on Poshmark and Mercari, and I missed my chance :(

It’s nice to get PR but it must mean a lot of work for you. That’s a lot of things to test. I’m looking forward to the upcoming reviews. I love the Alter Ego packaging. Why are ND palettes packaged in such a boring way?
